The Flyctory.com Country Music Playlists

The more Flyctory.com developed towards a music website as well, the more I thought about how to share music with you. This especially applies to country music, which is still not too strongly supported in Germany and in other parts of Europe in the media. Thus, I decided to start a country music playlist, containing of 60 songs soon. The idea is not just to promote the Nashville big ones, but also young artists. Of course, there will also be a certain focus on the Flyctory.com Featured Artists (as long as they are country musicians).

During the last years, I more and more moved from Amazon Music To Spotify. So far, I will maintain the playlist in parallel on both platforms. The full list of songs currently in the playlist is below. The current update policy is that eight new songs are added every weekend, typically on Monday early mornings.

I am currently unable to update my New Country Songs Playlists. Details can be found here.

I decided to maintain and archive my update log entries during the last weeks. If you are interested, just dare a look to my updated comments in the Flyctory.com Country Music Playlist Log Archive.

Country Music Playlist Update Log (24th August 2026)

Country music gave me a really hard time this week. There were multiple really interesting new releases – songs, EPs and albums – this week. It was really hard to reduce my favorites to a list of ten sonst. Unfortunately, I did not receive promos on many of them, so that I could not post a review. The more I love my this week’s ten song country music track selection.

  • Tourist by Reba McEntire

My playlist choices kick off with a true legend of female country music. Reba McEntire shared Tourist this week. The song completes her Tourist EP. However, all other four songs have already been released.

  • Skyline by David Nail

Grammy-nominated David Nail released the lovely country ballad Skyline this week. The Missouri artist released the song as part of his album Flowers, which is his first full-length album since 2018 (Only This and Nothing More).

  • Why in the World by Maddie Lenhart

Viriginia-origin artist Maddie Lenhart makes her debut into my Country music playlist. Her Why in the World is a very reflecting, deeper, slow song, which is absolutely worth listening.

  • Nothin’ Left To Burn by Brandon Wisham

Brandon Wisham is a very interesting upcoming modern country artist. The Savannah, Georgia, native (I recently took you to the Georgia State Railroad Museum there) released the eleven track Ain’t What It Looks Like today, which is branded as an EP. I went for the opening song, Nothin’ Left to Burn.

  • Daisies from Dirt by Melanie Dyer

Daisies from Dirt is not only the new song by the amazing Australian artist Melanie Dyer. It will also be the title track of her new album, which Melanie shares on 23rd October 2026. Hope I can share my thoughts about it with you then.

  • If I Was a Truck by Robyn Ottolini

Bad luck I did not receive a promo of A Safe Place To Land before its release. I would have loved to share my thoughts about Robyn Ottolini’s debut album in more detail. However, I absolutely enjoyed a listen. There was no doubt that the Canadian makes it into the playlist, for which I added If I Was a Truck.

  • Lucky You by Carolyn Miller

The release I would have loved to review most is definitely the new, self-titled EP by Carolyn Miller. She is just an amazing and underrated artists in the US country music scene. From this six track release of the New York City country lady, I went for Lucky You.

  • Drunk by Presley & Taylor

As said, I had a rather tough time reducing all the good country music releases this week to ten songs. The sisters Presely & Taylor gave me an easy choice, though. I really like the style of their new song, Drunk.

  • Once in a Mile by John Morgan

Another North Carolina-origin artist I feature this week is John Morgan. In April 2025, he released his debut album Carolina BlueOnce in a Mile is a lovely modern country song with a nice personal and emotional touch.

  • Friends Don’t Let Friends by Kanaan Brock

A new appearance in my playlist is Kanaan Brock. He is a rising country music artist from North Carolina. Friends Don’t Let Friends is a really nice modern country music track with a good story and a nice rocking touch.

The following ten songs have been released from the playlist this week:

  • All Over Nashville by Smithfield
  • Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck by Kip Moore
  • Go Again by Riley Green & Hannah McFarland
  • I Sure Hope So by Meghan Patrick
  • One Last Prayer by Eddie And The Getaway
  • Girls For Dummies by Kylie Morgen
  • Fan of You by Josh Abbott Band
  • We Could Have It All by Little Big Town
  • Other Girls by Robyn Ottolini
  • Boondocks by Morgan Griffiths
