C2C Country To Country Berlin 2025 – Day 2 (08.03.2025) – Day Sessions

Saturday in Berlin – the Country To Country festival went into its second day. 8th March 2025 again featured some very interesting artists of the country music scene – here is my view on the day session stage of the second day of the festival.

This posting comes with 393 major size pictures in the C2C 2025 Berlin section of the concert galleries.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 2 – Day Session Lineup

Again, I point you towards my preview post about the festival in regards of a detailed view on all artists of the day. Here are my highlights of the day:

  • With appearances on the Holler Stage and the Pindeck Stage, Canadian Alli Walker had her first appearances in Berlin.
  • The same applies for Irish artist Janet Devlin, who had her first show of the festival in the afternoon on the Alex stage.
  • Colorado artist Sophia Scott had two daytime slots, before she was about to close the Spotlight Stage in the evening.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 2 – Day Session Shows

I started the day with the first three sets on the Holler Stage. The venue at a rooftop bar of a hotel is driven by the British country website, which also made small interviews with the artists before their sets. The first artist on stage was Sophia Scott, who stated that the fans in Europe are much more attentive compared to the Nashville audience. Her set featured a originals like the 2023 You Problem and the 2018 single She ain’t Me. She also presented a new songs. The fans loved her set which closed with Wildflowers. The stage also features a meet and greet after the set on the balcony, overlooking the area and the East Side Gallery.

The second artist on the Holler Stage on that day was Alli Walker. Before she started her set, the host asked her about her rather unusual instrument, an electronic bagpipe. Alli Walker stated that she learned at the 2023 Berlin C2C that Germans call the instrument Dudelsack and that she likes that word. Furthermore, she is currently concentrating on new songs with the bagpipe. She also played a new song with it, but also guitar driven songs like Red Wine or Whiskey or I Like Big Trucks. Before First Time Living, Alli Walker talked about how much she appreciated the collaboration with Gretchen Wilson. Her set closed with Creek.

I was looking forward to Gareth‘s set, also as I had an interview session with him later that day. He talked about his recent move to Nashville. There were songs from his Covers (From Across The Pond) album like Stick Season as well as originals. The set was very quick and intense. Even though the stage was not as packed as before, I really liked that experience.

Town Square Stage and Charlie Worsham

Thereafter, I headed to the Town Square Stage, also in order to have some impressions for a final posting about the festival. I saw the end of the set of Cory Marks and the first minutes of Swiss artist Sid Bader, who did a very powerful and energetic performance. I then met Gareth for an interview, which you will find on my blog soon.

The last daytime / side stage performance I visited that day was Charlie Worsham on the Rooftop Stage, more or less located right across the Uber Platz from Holler Stage. His performance at the Bluebird Cafe kick-off was great – and he did not disappoint in this session as well. Amazing guitar play, being flexible with his set and interacting with the audience. Songs like Mississippi in July or his closing song, How I Learned To Pray (by a fan request) were impressing. He also shared Good Her, which has been written by Walker Hayes fifteen years ago, but never made it to a record. It will be part of Worsham’s new album.
