With the Country To Country Festival 2025 in Berlin, March had its key highlight already early in the month. Thus, my Country Music Playlist also featured a couple of tracks closely related to the event The more, this means, that many interesting new country releases did not make it into my main playlist. Hope you enjoy my Country Music Picks as of March 2025.
New Songs of the Week of 7th March 2025
The C2C Berlin week featured quite a couple of interesting new songs. Here are some of them.
Sierra Hull – Redbird
The first artist on my March 2025 list of new country songs is Sierra Hull. The Bluegrass artist from Tennessee released her album A Tip Toe High Wire that week – I went for that song to be added to the playlist.
Hayden Redwine – The Wind
Another artist who released an album in the first week of March 2025 is Hayden Redwine. Spade is the debut album Spade. The Wind is one of the new songs on that album. Nice, slow track, with a characteristic voice by the Texan artist.
Charley Crockett – Jamestown Ferry
Jamestown Ferry was the last single release before Charley Crockett released his Lonesome Drifter album a week later. In my review, the album got a really high rating of 4.8. In line with that, I really like his single release.
The Wiggles feat. Dolly Parton – We Will Always Be Friends
The Wiggles are an Australian group, who majorly do music and entertainment for kids. They released the album Wiggle Up, Giddy Up – with Friends! on 7th March 2025. The country album features some really major names of the genre, like Morgan Evans, Jackson Dean or Lainey Wilson. I just had to go for this tune with Dolly Parton, though.
Ingrid Andress – Footprints
I featured two Ingrid Andress albums so far. However, both of them, Good Person (2022) and Lady Like (2020) have been released quite a while ago. There is no new album announcements, but the new song Footprints definitely increases the appetite for one.
Maoli – Yours Truly
Country music made in Hawaii – that’s Maoli. He is followed by over 500k people on Facebook and Instagram each. His new song Yours Truly is a really good one with nice vibes.
Nick Cain – Out of the Blue
Out of the Blue is the first time I feature the Australian artist Nick Cain. In fact, he is releasing music since 2021. He is also well-known as an actor.
Madison Parks – Two Stories
Another artist, whom I feature in my blog the first time this month, is Madison Parks. She is an emerging artist from Georgia, who had a single release in 2018 with Stay 17, but then took a bit of a break until 2023. Two Stories is a rather slow song with a lovely melody.
Landon Smith – GFU
Landon Smith had a major success with If You Want Me Tonight in 2023. His song currently has some 11.5 million streams. GFU does not feel to be able to connect to that. But I really like the nice sway of his new release.
Hailey Mae Campbell – Second Fiddle
I haven’t featured Hailey Mae Campbell for quite a while. On 7th March 2025, she released the album Dear Life and I went for my favorite song after a quick listen, Second Fiddle. A nice country song with a good beat – and, of course, a fiddle.
Corey Kent – Girl I Never Met
Corey Kent is closing my list of 7th March 2025 new releases. His Girl I Never Met barely missed running into the Country Music Playlists. A really nice track by the 1994-born artist from Texas.
New Songs of the Week of 14th March 2025
One weekend later, the “main” Country To Country week took place, with the U.K. shows in London, Glasgow and Belfast. Here are the tracks I picked from that week.
Sammy Arriaga – Left My Heart In Texas
Sammy Arriaga is a Cuban American, who was born in Miami. Nonetheless, he states that he left his heart in Texas with that new song. It’s his second appearance in my Country Music Picks, after I featured Hero in the December 2024 edition.
The Castellows – You Don’t Even Know Who I Am
The Castellows, another C2C act in this list of new releases, shared this new song at the day of C2C London. The track is a Patty Loveless cover – I really like how the three young ladies turn it into their style.
Remember Monday – What The Hell Just Happened?
Country music at the Eurovision Song Contest: Remember Monday will represent their home country in Basel in 2025. Good luck for the three country-pop ladies. I guess the community will care for a couple of points from abroad.
Morgan Wade – East Coast
Morgan Wade had some shows in the Netherlands and Great Britain in March 2025. I definitely envy people who have seen her live on stage at that opportunity. In the second week of March, the Virginia-origin artist released the song East Coast. A really nice and personal track, which underlines her beautiful country music style.
Colby Lee Swift – Beer Drinkin’ Night
According to his website, Colby Lee Swift is known for his deep-rooted, traditional country sound and authentic, heartfelt lyrics. The Texas-born artist presents this party track – which obviously needs to has a rhythm made for dancing and drinking.
Micah Fletcher – Just One Night
Micah Fletcher is a country music artist from Virginia in his early 20’s. His March 2025 song release is a lovely country music love track. I like its melody.
Jake Worthington feat. Marty Stuart – I’m The One
2013 The Voice runner-up Jake Worthington meets country music legend Marty Stuart. The result is a rather speedy, very traditional-style track. A real treat for listeners, who do not like modern country sounds too much.
Warren Zeiders feat. Lanie Gardner – Love In Letting Go
Warren Zeider and Laine Gardner have both been featured this year on Flyctory.com already. Zeiders’ February show in Cologne was my first concert I covered in 2025. Gardner was amazing at the C2C in Berlin and had a great performance on Sunday’s Spotlight Stage. Now they join forces for this beautiful song.
Restless Road – Goin’ Out Like That
It’s about a year ago since I featured Restless Road in Frankfurt in March 2024. On 14th March 2025, they released Goin’ Out Like That. A really nice listen.
New Songs of the Week of 21st March 2025
The third week in March 2025 still featured a bunch of C2C recap work to me. With the Dirkschneider show in Frankfurt, it also featured some nice hard rock. This overview is about the three chords and the truth thing, though. Here are my picks as of 21st March 2025.
Naomi Johnson – Bricks Make Houses
The first song on my list as of 21st March 2025 is a debut single. Naomi Johnson (not to confuse with the British artist with the same name) released Bricks Make Houses on that day. However, Johnson is no really new artist, you very like her as a former member of Runaway June. Lovely, gentle sound.
Riley Roth – Right Where We Left Off
Another female country artist I feature at the beginning of that week’s list is Riley Roth. Her Right Where We Left Off is really nice country pop track. With When God Made You My Mother, the Pennsylvania artist already had a ten million streams song on Spotify.
Olivia Ellen Lloyd – Knotty Wood
After I featured her Do It Myself in the January 2025 Country Music Picks, Olivia Ellen Lloyd released Knotty Wood in March 2025. Another really nice by the West Virginia native.
Tokio Hotel – Hands Up
Tokio Hotel is not really known for country music so far. However, the German band released Hands Up that week – and it comes up with quite some nice vibe. Might help to promote the genre in my home country.
Lola Kirke – Marlboro Lights & Madonna
This song is part of Lola Kirke’s new album Trailblazer. The song just missed my Country Music Playlists – and the album just missed a spot in my reviews. The more, give her a try, I liked it.
Lauren Eliza – Handle
Lauren Eliza was born in Alabama, but as part of a military family, she lived in several parts of the world already. Handle is just her second single release, after she released If I Were Me in 2024. I really like her modern country music style.
McCoy Moore – Can’t Make That Up
Just by coincidence, here is another artist who released his second single in March 2025. I already featured his debut single Something to You in the February 2025 Country Music Picks – here is his sophomore release.
Thomas Goforth – Whiskey Sours
Thomas Goforth already gained quite some reputation in the Nashville music scene. Here is originally from St. Louis and works as a singer-songwriter as well as a producer. Whiskey Sours is a rather slow, very personal release by him.
Thomas Rhett feat. Lanie Gardner – What Could Go Right
Apart from her duet with Warren Zeiders, here is Lanie Gardner again. What Could Go Right is another lovely duet with a big name in country music. I really love this one, which barely missed my main playlist.
New Songs of the Week of 28th March 2025
I just had quite a bunch of work in parallel, so that I felt a bit overwhelmed by all the good new songs being released in that week. Here are my 28th March 2028 picks.
Pug Johnson – Time Well Wasted
The first song I feature from that week is Time Well Wasted by Pug Johnson. The rather traditional style track is part of his album release El Cabron. I really loved its vibes.
Maren Morris – Carry Me Through
Maren Morris is back with a new song. I still remember her show in 2019 in Amsterdam very well. In 2022, I shared my view of her album Humble Quest. Hope she can connect to it. The song is more country than the recent releases I remember – and the piano ballad style suits well to it.
Rachel Lee Roberts – Get This Girl A Drink
In my January 2025 Country Music Picks, I really loved sharing Rachel Lee Roberts song Drinking & Driving. Now, the Californian artist is asking to Get This Girl A Drink. Alcohol seems to be a key topic for her. I like the track, which comes with very modern vibes.
Mick Stender – Fell In Love
Mick Stender released his album Born To Leave on 28th March 2025. My song pick of the album is its second track, Fell In Love. The website of the Dutch artist states Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and George Johnes as his inspirations. Indeed, this one has a nice, nostalgic touch.
Walker Montgomery – Almost, so Close, so long, Goodbye
I indeed run into Walker Montgomery once – you find him in my CMA Fest 2019 Meet & Greet post. What a nice fit for the week in which I posted my CMA Fest 2025 Preview. Another cool, rather traditional song in my that week’s song selection.
Max Jackson – Dancing Queen (Little More Country Sessions)
I am typically very shy of dealing with covers and tribute versions in this post category. For the last week of March 2025, I even went for two of them. The first one is by a female country music artist from Australia, who even released a full EP of them that week. Here is my favorite from Little More Country Sessions.
Kathleen Edwards – The Logical Song
The second cover is coming right thereafter on my list. Canadian artist Kathleen Edwards released her version of Supertramp’s The Logical Song. A really cool one by the Ottawa-born artist.
Gareth – Answered Prayer
After the Berlin C2C 2025, I released a very interesting interview with the Northern Irish artist Gareth. That week, he released his new song, Answered Prayer.
Lily Fitts – Some Kind Of Evil
7.7 million likes – Lily Fits is really a big name on the short video platform TikTok. On 28th March 2025, the singer from Massachusetts, released this slower track. It indeed impressed me.
Lauren Alaina – Household
Lauren Alaina released a couple of songs about strong women in recent times. The next one of that series is Household. A nice and well-written song.
Bryan Ruby – Growin’ On Me
For March 2025, I went to an overall of 40 artists and songs – and Bryan Ruby is the last one of them. Fun fact on him: he also felt to be successful in baseball. Since 2022, he is releasing music – and he does it well.

Country Music Picks – The Playlist
I will also present the new songs of a month in a new, dedicated playlist. The playlist will be completely flushed and reset with the next Country Music Picks posting.
