Laura Evans (12th September 2026, Münster)

On 12th September 2026, I was really flattered driving to Münster in Germany for another concert coverage. I had featured Welsh artist Laura Evans in at a show in Hagen (a.T.W.) in November 2024 already and loved her show. This time, her show has been the last of her Germany and Switzerland tour. Here is my report.

This posting comes with 742 major size pictures as part of the concert gallery.

Hot Jazz Club – About The Venue

The Hot Jazz Club is a music club in Münster, Germany, coming with a capacity of roughly 200 spectators. It is located rather centrally at the city’s harbor area. It is an absolutely stunning recreational area, no longer used for commercial ships, featuring some cultural spots as well as a lot of bars and restaurants for hanging out. It is located in walking distance to Münster Main Station. I went by car, it has some parking opportunities around. The best one is of a small shopping district right opposite the road, which closes at 2:00 on weekend nights (22:00 Sunday to Thursday). If you need a closer public transport stop, one of the possible options is Emdener Straße (bus line 34).

Laura Evans – About The Artists

Laura Evans had this show a few weeks after her 40th birthday. The Aberdare, Wales, born artist, initially became popular in the United Kingdom as an actress, though. She played an American girl named Madison in the BBC The Basil Brush Show. She has been active as an artist until the 2020’s. Her musical career started with the 2014 country music EP Remember When. Her music is also influenced by blues and other Americana elements. In 2022, she released her debut album State of Mind. Three years thereafter, she released the record Out of the Dark.

Laura Evans – The Show

The show was scheduled to start at 21:00. The band went on stage a few minutes earlier and Laura Evans kicked off her some 1:50 minute show right in time, starting with Whereever You Are from her most recent Out of the Dark album. While Münster was a bit shy at the beginning, they more and more got into her music – and closer to stage. An emotional highlight of the first half of her set was Nobody Loves Me Like You, while songs like her Fire With Fire from her 2022 State of Mind album had more powerful and groovy vibes. After Heartbreaker, there was a brief intermission of some ten to fifteen minutes.

Laura Evans came back with Solo and Just A Little Bit More. With people sitting very close to the state, she more and more caught the audience. When she asked the audience before her Love Me Like A Man cover whether there are any Bonnie Raitt fans in the audience, the reaction was limited. However, the more people enjoyed this song. Her Come Together cover made the majority of the Münster crowd dance to her music. Honest was the last song of the ordinary setlist, followed by the encore including State of Mind and I’m Alright. However, the audience at the last leg of her tour was beginning for another one – and thus, Laura fulfilled this wish.

Laura Evans – My View

I really enjoyed Laura Evans show in Hagen a.T.W. some two years ago. However, this evening in Münster felt more intense. Laura and her band were very enthusiastic and connected very well to the audience. They paid it back with love, singing and dancing. Thus, this show turned out to a very fun evening driven by a lovely artist and her band.
