The Kolors (30th November 2024, Mons / Belgium, Pict. Story)

On a road trip through Italy in 2021, I ran into a song, which made me fall in love with the Italian band The Kolors. The synth-pop trio had a huge song in their home country this time, named Cabriolet Panorama. A song about a road trip in the night with typical Italo vibes. In the meantime, the band has grown and got fans all over Europe (typically with some Italian roots or relations). On 30th November 2024, they played their very first show in Belgium, at the Theatre Royal in Mons. I just had to go there.

I took a couple of pictures with my amateur point-and-shoot equipment. The snaps do not meet my typical quality standards, but I felt they are worth sharing. I just present them in my Pictured Story format, so that there the concert report does not meet the typical standards in this category as well (including that there is no gallery). But as I am not that well currently, I felt it is a nice Sunday evening “goodie” for you on my website. Hope you enjoy nonetheless.

The show started some 18 minutes late, at around 20:18. This was also remarkable, as they were still sound-checking after 20:00, putting up the setlists on stage and doing similar things, which you simply could have done earlier. That did not do that much harm to the energetic show of the trio, which majorly spoke Italian to their fans (most of them understood the language anyway), but also changed to English here and there. The show included all their classics like Un Ragazzo una Ragazza or Karma, which more and more becomes my favorite. Of course, they also took the audience to the Cabriolet Panorama road trip. The show was majorly driven by their charismatic frontman Stash Fiordispino, who also went into the audience for one song. Overall, a really cool Italian pop show, which lasted some 90 minutes.
