Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 6th November 2026)

The pumpkins have been removed from the front porch, the scary cakes from your Halloween party have all been munched. It is time for Christmas. That’s at least how the music industry feels like this week. I have been flooded with Christmas music releases this week – apart from compilation albums and a lot of big artist name releases. I felt that this week only could easily lead to a Flyctory.com half year volume of album reviews. I had to restrict myself quite a lot – often deciding based on which release I received first.

On the singles side, the Christmas music wave typically means that you are dealing with a lot of questionable songs, too. Either because they are simply not-at-all special versions of the same traditional – or simply because they are terrible. Thus, my Songs of the Week are comparably short, based on the number of songs I checked out for you. I will also experiment with some new ways of researching for new songs, which I hope will lead to some new, not-that-much-in-focus artists during the next weeks’ posts.

My Song of the Week:

Anne Mosters – I Ain’t Gonna Let You Down

Anne Mosters was already scheduled to be on top in my last week’s edition. However, the promoter gave it a wrong release date – Anne shared the song on Saturday, 31st October 2026. The 17th November 2005-born German artist is the 2025 winner of The Voice of Germany. She initially competed in the show in 2023, and was one of the Allstars entries in last year’s edition. She currently tours with her team mentor, Nico Santos. What an impressing song with an outstanding chorus.

Other Great Songs this Week:

Laurena Frey – Everywhere

The dream pop song Everywhere is the debut single by Laurena Frey. However, the artist from Mannheim is not completely unknown to the music industry – she is working in music promotion. Let’s see whether it helps to boost her song in the charts and airplays.

Andy Susemihl – Mainframe

I typically try to create a dramatic plot in my Songs of the Week – but Andy Susemihl’s new song is so much out of the box of the other tracks that I just could put it somewhere. Andy Susemihl is a German rock guitarist and producer. For example, he worked with U.D.O. and Sinner. His Mainframe is a lovely, powerful and hymnic rock release.

Indigos Ego – Following

Artificial intelligence is a red flag for many music artists – and I agree to them. However, I found Following by Indigos Ego by building my own AI agent, aiming to search for new songs outside promotion platforms and key playlists. I hope that the Irish alternative band is fine with that. They are a relatively new act, being founded in Cavan in 2024. Last year, they released their debut album Dark Waters.

Rea Garvey – I Wish You Were Here

Of course, I could not ignore all the new Christmas song releases this weeks. Some are really good. One of those is I Wish You Were Here, the feature single of Rea Garvey’s upcoming album Christmas Calling. You can listen to the full set of ten songs by the Irish artist from 20th November 2026.

Fausta Gallelli & Alessandro – Il Natale e felicita

This one is a lovely Christmas track in Italian. Fausta Gallelli is an Italian artist, who is originally from Calabria. However, she is nowadays living in Austria. Together with her son Alesssandro, she released Il Natale a felicita – “Christmas is Joy” this week. I really love the mixture of Christmas spirit and Italian temper.

Please Madame – Your Taste

Please Madame are an indie-pop/rock quartet from Salzburg in Austria. The band around singer Dominik Wendl is active since 2010 and has released four albums so far. The two most recent ones hit the Top 25 of the domestic album charts. I really liked the contrast between the melancholic stanzas and the melodic chorus in this song.

Joy Denalane – What Christmas Means to Me

This one is in fact a cover. Stevie Wonder released What Christmas Means to Me on his 1967 album Someday at Christmas already. The Berlin-origin artist Joy Denalane boosts the soul, pop and R&B spirit in her 2026 version. The German artist already had five albums, which placed in the Top 10 of the German Album Charts.

George Lamy & Cereza Bayo – Dreams Come True on Christmas

If I gave an award for the most stereotypical new Christmas pop song of the week, George Lamy and Cereza Bayo would have a great chance to win it. The two musicians are based in Uslar North of Kassel in Germany. And they just hit that Christmas spirit perfectly in my point of view with their Dreams Come True on Christmas.
