Flyctory.com Pros

  • Very versatile album
  • Good songs
  • Wide range of tracks

Jessica Lynn is not only a Featured Artist of Flyctory.com, but generally an artist I learned to admire during the last years. She is definitely one of the most open-minded and friendly people in the business, touring with her family, her husband and some friends around the world. Thus, a new Jessica Lynn album is special to me. All I Own will be released on 17th January 2025. I had a listen.

Jessica Lynn – About The Artist

Jessica Lynn was born in 6th January 1990 in Brooklyn, New York City. She grew up in the Greater New York City area. While she has a rather remarkable degree and rating in her studies, she also started to tour, majorly in Manhattan, with her first band. So far, Jessica Lynn released three EPs, one live album and the 2022 studio album Lone Rider. Especially in online charts like the iTunes or Amazon music one, she is doing quite regularly quite high chart positions.

Jessica Lynn – All I Own – Track by Track

The ten track album lasts 34

1. Bet On It

Jessica Lynn kicks off her new album with Bet On It, which is a die-hard countryrock’n’roll track. Powerful guitars and clear work on the drums with some percussion are the foundation of this track, which definitely has the potential to drive your next country music party.

2. Something ‘Bout You

The second song was not also one of first single releases, Jessica Lynn also featured Something ‘Bour You during her 2024 summer tour dates. The song comes with a lovely flow and melody. It thus works as a party song as well as a sing-a-long.

3. Ain’t Done With You Yet

Clapping and rhythmic elements are the first present parts of the third song, Ain’t Done With You. The stanzas are very groovy, but you also don’t really get in which direction this song is finally heading. The short, impressing chorus then shows the energetic Jessica Lynn, who is reminding me in this song of Shania Twain.

4. All I Own

Strumming guitars, some backing strings – the title track shows a very vulnerable and emotional side of Jessica Lynn. You turned to stone, and loving you is all I own – this song is definitely one of the most intense stories of the album.

5. Shame

Shame feels such a contrast after this dramatic listen. Jessica Lynn presents a song with Latin American rhythm, which feels like sun, dancing and fun. However, the topic of the song is not too far away from its predecessor. I loved listening to it during her days in Europe 2024 already, e.g. at the very special show in Erftstadt in 2024.

6. Mixed Signals

The previous songs moved Jessica Lynn and her All I Own a bit away from country music styles. Mixed Signals is pushing the songs into that direction again. However, it would not be a Jessica Lynn album if there wasn’t a special twist. The present, groovy rhythm feels to force you moving to it, while the brass instruments spread some hints of swing to the song. Cool one!

7. Straight Outta Luck

Straight Outta Luck is a cool, laid back, gtoovy song. The heart of the track are Americana vibes, but again, Jessica is mixiing some very special spices into their album dish.

8. You Save Me

For future Jessica Lynn shows, this one is likely the track which demands to switch of the lights of your cell phones. Darling, you saved me – this beautiful duet is the peak of emotions on All I Own.

9. 16 Miles

After this fine and emotional episode, Jessica Lynn is rocking again. Especially at the beginning of 16 Miles, the country lady is coming with an impressing blending of country and rock vibes on the microphone. Nice song, which wisely makes usw of instruments like the fiddle.

10. I Never Said It’d Be Easy

Okay, if you heard that one played live on stage by Jessica and her family, I promise, it stays in your mind. And thus, I Never Said It’d Be Easy feels like the perfect chucker-out for this album. A very cool, energetic and hymnic listen.

Jessica Lynn – All I Own – My View

Jessica Lynn is not a typical mainstream country artist. You feel that her music is much wider, she is open to different influences. This wide scope forms All I Own as a special listen. Even though that most songs individually strike, I wonder whether it might be a bit too much variation for the typical listener.
