Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 27th March 2026)

Wow, this Friday has been intense. A lot of really good and interesting new songs have been released in the week of 27th March 2026. My new edition of the Songs of the Week is quite long, starting with some really cool rock songs. Hope you like it!

LustfingeR – Alles scheiße außer Liebe

LustfingeR, the legendary German punk rockers from Munich, celebrate their 45th band anniversary this years. The title roughly translates to “Everything sucks apart from love”. Great energy with a good melody drives them to the very top of my release radar.

Mondpalast – Wieder Hier

Mondpalast is a new German project founded by Eike Freese and Stefan Aurel. They use different guest musicians to create a great sound somewhere between rock and pop. Wieder Hier (“Here again”) is their debut single – and it is already a really good one.

Rachel Bolan feat. Danko Jones – At War With Myself

Rachel Bolan (or simply: Bolan) is the bassist and songwriter of Skid Row. The New Jersey artist is teaming up with the Canadian rockers Danko Jones and releases this great hard rock song. I am sure there are some festivals in summer, at which the crowds will sing the chorus with Bolan.

Eva Under Fire feat. Maria Brink – Villainous

Villainous is not only the new single by Eva Under Fire – it will also be the title track of their new album. Fans look forward to the release date, 10th July 2026. The US rockers from Detroit joined forces with Maria Brink, the frontwoman of In This Moment. A great modern metal track.

Wolfgang – A Miracle Tonight

In my 27th February 2026 Songs of the Week, I already introduced you to the Faroese rock band Wolfgang. This week, they present another really fine song, A Miracle Tonight. The full, self-titled album will be released on 17th April 2026.

Baldur – Sleaze Police

Another act from the Faroe Islands I introduced you to recently is Baldur. Baldur Heinesen was part of my 6th February 2026 Songs of the Week with his song Sporty Girls. This week, he shared Sleaze Police – a song which feels so much like Brit pop and has a nice synth pop vibe as well. Love it!

Giant Rooks – Want It Back

Giant Rooks is an indie-pop quintet from Hamm in the Northeast part of the German Ruhrgebiet. They are active since 2014 and have already released two albums. They are working on their third studio album, which won’t be available before 2027.

Paula Stellar – Lovesick

Another really cool new indie song from Germany is Lovesick by Paula Stellar. The Berlin artist already had some minor appearances in the German single charts. The story behind the title is funny: on a winter road trip through Czechia, Paula also passed the town Lovosice. Seeing the town limit sign, the title Lovesick came into her mind. This song suggests that more musicians should do travel in Czechia – it feels to leading to great music.

Kienbeck – Traumfrau

Traumfrau is just the third single release by Kienbeck. Paul Kienbeck, which is the full name of the artist, is also working as a composer, organist, and composer. A great listen by the Austrian from Langenrohr Northwest of Vienna.

Fischer-Z – Strings

Another huge band anniversary is the one of Fischer-Z. The band around John Watts has been founded in 1976. 50 years of great alt-punk and rock music made in England. Strings also shortens the time until the release date of the new album, 50/50. Fischer-Z will also tour later this year.

MIA. – Los

If you are from Germany or one of the neighboring countries, I don’t need to introduce MIA. to you any more. The band started in 1997 as a school band in Berlin – and released seven studio albums so far. Three of them made it to the Top 5 in Germany, two received a golden record there. This week, they share their new song Los. The song will also be on their new album. There is no fixed release date yet, but it will be some time in fall this year.

Mad Manoush – Banana

Especially as it is still rather cold here in Europe, some summer feelings can’t be too wrong. This week, they are coming from Mad Manoush. The artist from Bern has released three albums already, the first one dated as of 2008. Swiss reggae is not bad at all.

Jungle – Carry On

Later in 2026, the British disco soul trio Jungle will tour with their new album Sunshine. The song Carry On is a lovely teaser for that 14th August 2026 release.

Fabian Haupt – Perfect

Fabian is a pop singer-songwriter from Dusseldorf, Germany. In my 6th March 2026 Songs of the Week, his German song Perfekt has been one of my favorites. This week, he released an English version of the song – and I absolutely love this one as well. Even though it is practically the same song, I had to share it.

Paul McCartney – Days We Left Behind

It always feels special when I am gifted to share music by true music legends in here. Undoubtedly, Paul McCartney is one of the finest names in British music. The Liverpool artist shared the beautiful, gentle Days We Left Behind this week. It feels like a timeless classic.

Miley Cyrus – Younger You (Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special)

On 24th March 2006, Disney Channel broadcasted the very first episode of Hannah Montana. The teen sitcom became a huge success, leading to four seasons with a total of 98 episodes. And, of course, I was the starting point of Miley Cyrus’ career. Disney Channel celebrated the anniversary this week – and also shared this song by Miley – which simply has to be on my list this week.

Mina Richman – Show Me Don’t Tell

I recently added the Different Flavours of Being Happy Tour 2026 by Mina Richman to my Tour Date Overview. The German artist will share the corresponding album in August 2026. A beautiful, melodic indie-pop track.

Joss Jaffe, Jim Kimo West – Thermocline

Last, but not least, there is another proof that Joss Jaffe and Jim Kimo West are a great combination when it comes to New Age instrumental music. Leading towards their upcoming album, the US-Canadian duo released their new single Thermocline this week.
