C2C Country To Country Berlin 2025 – Day 1 (07.03.2025) – Evening Session

Welcome to the main event! While I really enjoy the daytime stages with the variety of comparably less popular artists, the afternoons and evening at Uber Eats Hall do attract a major number of country music fans. The first evening of the Country To Country Festival 2025 in Berlin already had some fine names on the main stage – and some promising acts on the Spotlight Stage, which is used during the artist changes on the main stage. Here is my report of the first night in Germany’s capital.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 1 – Evening Sessions Lineup

Here is the lineup in Uber Eats Hall on the first evening of Country To Country 2025 in Berlin. Some more details about the artists can be found in my preview post:

Dylan Gossett and 49 Winchester were obviously the key artist attractions of the evening. I was also very interested on how The Castellows will be alike live, opening the Main Stage of the festival. The Spotlight Stage closed the day with Max McNown, whose recently released strong album Night Diving was an absolute treat to me.

 

 

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 1 – Main Stage Shows

Unfortunately, my Main Stage reports will not be as detailed as I would like them to be. Leaving and entering the photo pit, which is also used for the Spotlight Stage intermission shows leads to a lot of commuting during the evening at Uber Eats Music Hall. The first day at the Main Stage was pretty much in time with not too many obvious issues. First of all, The Castellows had their debut appearance in Germany. With songs like Cowboy Kind of Love or No. 7 Road, they definitely won the hearts of the audience with a lovely performance. A highlight of the set was Sober Sundays, for which they were joined by Wyatt Flores.

Next on Main Stage was Sam Barber, who did a very energetic set, together with his bandmates. Quite a lot of people felt to have traveled to Berlin with a focus on the Missouri-native singer songwriter – and eh paid it back to his fans.

 

Technical Issues at Wyatt Flores

Unlucky Wyatt Flores had to fight with technical difficulties at the beginning of his set. For example, the during the first roughly 90 seconds of his gig, the audience could not hear his vocals due to connection issues. He had to fight with some other problems as well, but overall did a really nice and good show to the German people.

49 Winchester do have a strong fan base in Germany already – and they rocked the Uber Eats Music Hall with their energetic style. The venue felt rather well-filled now, most of them enjoyed their set.

Dylan Gossett concluded the first day in Berlin 2025. You could see a certain level of exhaustion – the festival had kicked off almost 12 hours before the Texas country artist. Thus, a certain amount of people already left during the set, including myself, who majorly felt too weak after a long day. Nonetheless, he did a nice set – but just did not feel to energize the people sufficiently at the end of their first C2C day.

 

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 1 – Spotlight Stage

The Spotlight Stage artists were unfortunately very difficult to cover under the given photographic rules. Also in order to regulate my work amount a bit, I skipped the third slot by Charlie Worsham – I will try to cover him during the other festival days. Bayker Blankenship was the first artist on stage, followed by Zach John King. I especially loved the closing performance on the satellite stage by Max McNown and his bandmates during these days.
