My Country To Country Berlin 2025 Preview

In exactly two weeks, on 6th March 2025, Country To Country (C2C) Berlin is kicking off with the The Bluebird Cafe session. I felt it is a perfect time to have my preview of the event, including a guide into the stages and artists. Hope you enjoy my quite long posting.

 

C2C Berlin 2025 – Location & Ticketing

The main stage of Country To Country Berlin is the Uber Eats Music Hall, which has a capacity of 4,500. It was formerly known as Verti Music Hall. It is located next to Berlin’s major indoor venue, the up to 17,000 Uber Arena (formerly Mercedes-Benz Arena). The Spotlight Stage, which is used during intermissions on the main stage, is located in the Uber Eats Music Hall as well. All side stages, which are used during day time, are located in very close walking distance around the main venue. The only exception is the The Bluebird Cafe session on Thursday, which is held at the Passionskirche in Kreuzberg. By car, it is some five kilometers away. Public transport connection between the venues is roughly forty minutes.

The main Country To Country 2025 in Berlin is running from Friday, 7th, to Sunday, 10th March 2025. You can choose between Mainstage and Full Festival tickets. The Mainstage ticket only grants you access to Uber Eats Music Hall in the afternoon. The Full Festival Ticket also allows you to visit the side stages, which kick off in the morning already. I guess that the Town Square Stage, which is the only open air location, is generally free. There are tickets for the whole weekend as well as each individual day. At the time of publishing, the all day Full Festival ticket is 378 Euro and allows to stand in the main venue. All seated tickets in Uber Eats Music Hall are sold out. The Bluebird Cafe session on Thursday, 6th Match 2025, on 19:00 is not included in any of the tickets. The kick-off to the festival is already sold out.

 

Potentially Conflicting Events

There are two events announced for the weekend at the Uber Arena, which could impact the festival:

  • There was a live soccer podcast, Football Bromance, announced for Thursday, 6th March 2025. The event has been cancelled.
  • On Friday, 7th March 2025, local basketball club ALBA Berlin is facing FC Barcelona in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague. The match starts at 20:30 (doors 19:30)

Additionally, there may be a first round play-off match of ice hockey club Eisbären Berlin. However, currently Berlin is quite safely placed second in the German professional league DEL and likely has a bye in that round.

 

C2C Berlin 2025 – The Stages

There are two stages in the Uber Eats Music Hall. This venue is used exclusively in the late afternoon and evening. It features the following stages:

  • Mainstage: the main stage of Uber Eats Music Hall. Home of the headline and main stage artists
  • Spotlight Stage: the smaller stage in the middle of the audience is used to shorten the time needed to setup the Mainstage for the next artist.

There are the following side stages. All of them are located around the Uber Platz, where the main venue is located. I listed them in alphabetical order. All stages have some sort of catering.

  • Alex Stage: located in the ALEX restaurant.
  • Holler Stage: located in the Gallery Rooftop Bar on top of the Hotel Indigo Berlin – East Side Gallery
  • Pindeck Stage: located in the Bowling World bowling alley
  • Rooftop Stage: located in the 260° Bar
  • Sound of Nashville Stage: located in the UCI Luxe Cinema
  • Star FM Stage: located in the Redo XXL restaurant, which is known for very large servings
  • Town Square Stage: open air stage right at Uber Platz

There is also the C2C Cinema located in the UCI Luxe cinema. It shows country music-related music.

In addition, there is the Passionskirche, only used for the Thursday The Bluebird Cafe kick-off:

  • Passionskirche: the only venue used outside Uber Platz. The closest public transport station is Gneisenaustraße (underground line U7).

 

C2C Berlin 2025 – The Headliners

I see the last two main stage acts of evening as headliners. The order of the artists is chronological. In case I featured the acts in concerts, album/EP reviews or interviews, you find the links below. I did not include Country Music Picks and similar appearances, though. All appearances given are, of course, subject to change.

 

49 Winchester

49 Winchester are an amazing live band. The combo around Isaac Gibson are also represented in the The Bluebird Cafe session on Thursday. I am sure their Friday session will be fun.

Dylan Gossett

The Texas country artist is the Friday evening headliner. His 2023 single Coal has been a golden record in the USA and Canada and a silver record in the United Kingdom.

Dasha

There are just a few country music artists, who manage to become Top 10 in the Netherlands and enter the German charts. Dasha’s 2024 album What Happens Now? did so. She is one of the most promising female country music acts and will be on Mainstage on Saturday. She recently announced additional tour dates in Europe in summer.

Midland

The Texas neotraditional country band around Mark Wystrach are great fun. Their single Drinkin’ Problem has been a five time platinum release in the USA. I saw them live in Manchester a few years ago and am sure they will be a blast on Saturday.

Nate Smith

The West Coast country artist is presenting his most recent album California Gold in Berlin. The record just missed the Top 10 in the US Country charts. His self-titled debut stayed in these charts for amazing 55 weeks, driven by songs like the triple platinum Whiskey On You. He will be on Sunday Mainstage.

Lainey Wilson

Grammy Award winner and six time ACMA Award holder Lainey Wilson is definitely the biggest name on the Country To Country stages in Berlin 2025. She is very present in the country music scene, with significant success outside North America.

Here are the artists occuring on the early Mainstage session, the Spotlight Stage and the other side stages. They are in alphabetical order.

 

Adrien Nunez

6.5m followers on TikTok, a promising basketball career in college – and country musician. Adrien Nunez is bringing fresh ideas to the genres and is mixing pop and hip hop elements to his songs. One of the most interesting artists on the side stages. He will be in Berlin Sunday only.

Alli Walker

Alli Walker is one of the Canadian country musicians represented in Berlin. Her most recent album release is the 2023 Growing Up. She has been nominated as the Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Austin Jenckes

Austin Jenckes is one of the artists I look forward to the most in Berlin. Pre-Covid, he has been rather present in the German country music scene. With appearances on all three days, he will be one of the main drivers of the Country To Country Festival 2025 in Berlin.

Bayker Blankenship

The Tennessee artist will be in Berlin on Friday, including the Spotlight stage, before heading to the C2C in Rotterdam. With Jailbreak and Maxed Out, he already had two major hits.

Calen Lee Hutchinson is one of the many country artists, who grew by attending American Idol. Caleb Lee Hutchinson placed second in the 2018 season. The Dallas-origin released his debut album Southern Galactic in 2023.

Charlie Wosham

The former Old Crow Medicine Show member is active all four days in Berlin, including a Spotlight Stage appearance on Friday. He will also be on stage at the The Bluebird Cafe session.  His latest album is dated as of 2017, but he released two EPs thereafter. Definitely one of the most interesting acts in Berlin.

Chayce Beckham

Chayce Beckham won American Idol in 2021. He released the EP Doin’ It Right in 2022, followed by his debut album Bad for Me in 2024. The latter included the single 23, which has been a platinum record in the USA, Canada and Australia. He will be on the Mainstage on Sunday.

Cory Marks

Canadian artist Cory Marks will be in Berlin on Friday and Saturday. The country rock artist has released the album Sorry for Nothing in late 2024. He is definitely an artist you should have a look at. I am especially looking forward to how the public will perceive him on Saturday at the open air Town Square Stage on Saturday.

Don Ellis has been part of the duo Darry & Don Ellis. Nowadays, he is performing without his brother. Some 1990’s country vibes in Berlin – this Pennsylvania act will definitely be special.

Drew Baldridge’s 2016 debut album Dirt on Us just missed the Top 10 of the US Country Charts. In 2022, he added his sophomore record Country Born. The album also contained a version of She’s Somebody’s Daughter, which peaked third in the US Country Airplay Charts.

Evan Bartels

Evan Bartels is originally from Nebraska, but nowadays based in Nashville. Active since 2010, he has released three albums so far. You can watch his performances on all three days of the festival.

The British artist Gareth is one of the few representatives of European country music in Berlin. However, he has already established in the Nashville country music scene as well. Louisiana artist Graham Barham perfectly fulfills country music stereotypes. He grew up in a rural village, he is the son of a farmer and a teacher and started singing in church. At the age of 18, he moved to Nashville. On 14th February 2025, he released the EP Oil Money.

Harper O’Neill

The Dallas-origin artist harper O’Neill will bring a lot of energy to the Friday side stages. She is just there for two sessions. I will definitely try not to miss her.

Janet Devlin

County music from Ireland – Janet Devlin will be in Berlin for one session each on Saturday and Sunday. She finished fifth in the 2011 season of the British The X Factor and released four studio albums so far. The last record has been her 2024 Emotional Radio.

However, she is also successful as a solo artist, like she illustrates with songs like Devil’s Money. In Berlin, she will appear five times on the daytime stages.

Sam Barber

The single release  Straight and Narrow boosted Sam Barber’s career in 2022. The song was a platinum release in the USA, a double platinum in Australia and a triple platinum in Canada. In 2024, he released his golden record debut album Restless Mind. He will be the second artist on the Mainstage on Friday.

Shaboozey

After having a show in Cologne on Saturday night, Shaboozey will head to Berlin on Sunday for his Mainstage appearance. The Virginia artist especially became popular outside the country music bubble with A Bar Song (Tipsy). The song is a five time platinum in the United States, but also was a Top 4 song in Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Sid Bader

Sid Bader is the only German-speaking artist in Berlin (he sings in English, though). However, I did not miss him in my recent German modern country musicians post – Sid is from Pfäffikon in Switzerland.. His 2024 song I Wanna Be Like You – The Monkey Song comes with five million streams on Spotify only. Sid Barber is having Town Square Stage appearances on all three days.

Sophia Scott

Sophia Scott will be in Berlin on Saturday, before heading to the Netherlands. She released her debut album Barstool Confessions in 2023. It will be definitely interesting to follow the artist from Colorado, who will close the Spotlight Stage on Saturday.

Tanner Adell

Buckle Bunny is the title of Tanner Adell’s debut album, released in 2023. She is born in Lexington in Kentucky, where I watched my very first country music festival. On Saturday, she will be opening the Mainstage.

Tayler Holder

According to his Instagram account, Tayler Holder is Just a kid that writes songs sometimes. He seems to do that very well – almost five million people are following him on the social media platform. On Saturday, he might add some more followers from Germany.

The Castellows

The Castellows are a modern country music trio, which is active since 2022. They are sisters, two of them are even triplets. In recent times, the country ladies massively increased their fan base. They are nowadays followed by 1.5m people on Instagram. In Berlin, they have the honor of opening the Mainstage.

Travis Bolt

In a 2024 song, Travis Bolt states Never Tried Cocaine. That’s good, and I look forward to some clean performances by the Texas artist. He will be on stage all three days.

Tucker Wetmore

Tucker Wetmore is from the very Northwest of Continental USA, from Kalama in Washington State. He is active since 2021. Especially his single release Wind Up Missin’ You has been very successful, placing sixth in the US Country Charts and second in the US Country Airplays. The song is part of his 2024 debut album Waves on a Sunset.

Tyler Halverson

Tyler Halverson released the two part EPs Western Amerijuana in 2024. The South Dakota artist had some really successful songs, like Beer Garden Baby or Mac Miller. Thus, his Friday and Saturday performances will definitely be shows to look out for.

I ran into Tyler Sjöström, when he was part of the Sound of Nashville Open Air in Cologne in 2024. Later, you could have a deeper insight into his music in my Spotlight interview with him. He is part of the Sad Song Society, but will also be performing solo sets on all three days in Berlin. Look forward to listening to him again.

Willie Jones has been the hidden star of the 2020 C2C in Berlin. His performances built on a very modern interpretation of country music are amazing. In 2025, he will be on the Spotlight stage on Saturday and have several appearances on other side stages.

Right before the C2C in Berlin, Wyatt Flores will release the album Live at Cain’s Ballroom (14th February 2024). The Oklahoma artist released his debut album Welcome to the Plains in October 2024. He will be on Mainstage on Friday.

Zach John King

Zach John King is one of the Spotlight Stage artists on Ftriday. However, he also has performances on all three days in Berlin on side stages as well. In 2024, the Georgia artist released his EP Wannabe Cowboy.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Rough Time Schedule

On all three days, the first side stage concerts start around 10:30. The sessions are typically 30 minutes with a 15 minute intermission between the artists. You should expect acoustic sessions majorly. The key exception to that is the Sound of Nsshville Stage, which has two sessions, Heart to Heart and Sad Song Society. I guess they are both songwriters rounds. The Sad Song Society features Jason Nix, Kenny Foster and Tyler Sjöström. These sessions are around an hour each. The movies in the C2C Cinemaare obviously longer as well. Most side stages close around 16:00, the Town Square Stage some 30 minutes later. The Town Square Stage also featured line dance sessions twice a day, from 12:10 to 12:40 and from 15:10 to 15:40.

The Mainstage starts around 16:50. The scheduled duration of the sets is increasing over the evening. The first two artists have slots of 30 and 40 minutes, while the closing act has a dedicated time of 85 minutes. Four artists shorten the intermission on the Spotlight Stage. Estimated ending on all three days is 23:35.
