  • Nice outdoor pool

Flyctory.com Cons

  • Too many service issues of all kinds

Obviously, my Six US States and Nashville trip in June 2025 also brought me to Music City. The second hotel om that road trip was the Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood I65S. I stayed there from the second to the fourth day of my trip, before heading South to Alabama. Here is the review of my stay.

Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood – Location

Brentwood is a Southern suburb of Nashville. The hotel is directly located at the I-65 Interstate, which is heading South towards Birmingham AL. There are a couple of other hotels and restaurants in the area around the hotel. On the opposite side of the interstate, here is also a Target store with some additional stores.  Driving distance to Downtown Nashville is about 10 miles. The time that trip takes significantly differs by the level of congestion.

The hotel more or less demands that you get there by car. It offers a sufficient number of free parking lots.

Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood – Room

I had two nights at the Hampton Inn hotel, from Saturday to Monday in late May / early June 2025. The non-refundable rate for the King Bed Study Room with Sofabed was 292.87 USD including tax. Despite my Hilton Honors Diamond status, I also received the room category received. I generally like the room layout with the nice work desk at one of the walls. The room also featured a large fridge, but no microwave oven.

The design of the bathroom was surprisingly compact. Nonetheless, I had sufficient space to store my toiletries in there. The shower bathroom felt nicely serviced, but there was a definitely housekeeping issue (see below), so that I cannot judge on the cleanliness of the room.

Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood – Breakfast

The breakfast area at the Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood I-65S is actually quite nice. I overall also liked the presentation of the typical Hampton-style breakfast. However, the hotel had significant issues with cleaning used tables and refilling breakfast items.

Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood – Service

Check-in and check-out was not as friendly as I am used to in other Hilton places in the United States. Furthermore, I have neither been welcomed as a Hilton Honors Diamond member nor been offered a welcome snack. I already mentioned that there were housekeeping issues in the room. Right in front of the sofabed, I found a, quite obviously located, pair of socks. They were slightly covered by the movable foodrest cushions located in front of the sofabed. A proper housekeeping must find those. Thus, I assume that at least this part of the room has not been cleaned at all. The hotel offered me to change the room, but I declined as there is finally no reason for me to believe that the service attitude might be better in another room. Overall, the whole hotel could use some maintenance and better cleaning. WiFi worked well.

The hotel drives a lean, but overall nice gym on reception level. A really nice part of the services is definitely the typically sized outdoor pool.

Hampton Inn Nashville/Brentwood – My View

The price for that place was absolutely fine – at least if you factor in the ridiculous Greater Nashville averages, especially during summer. The location is quite fine and not too far away from Downtown Nashville. However, this place simply has too many service issues. From the front desk to the breakfast staff and housekeeping – all somehow failed during my visit. Thus, I would go for another option next time, definitely.
