The last match of the German Under 15 Floorball Nationals was about to start. PSV Black Wolves Dessau and FBC Munich, the two strongest teams in the tournament, faced again. Munich had beaten Dessau badly in their battle in preliminary group B. However, Dessau also had saved some powers there and persuaded in the semifinals. Could there be a tough battle? Or would favorite Munich take another cup home? Here is my report from the match in Bremen on 6th July 2025.

German Under 15 Floorball Nationals Final – Match Report
The match started rather hectic, but the referees calmed down the emotions rather well. Munich put Dessau under pressure from the very beginning. However, ,it took them a while to score by Martin Hempfling (6th). The momentum felt on the Bavarian side, when Jeremias Probst increased the lead in the 12th minute, but Milo-Leandro Steinbrück finished a fast break in a strong manner and closed up again.

However, right after that goal, Dessau lost discipline, when Ole Schindler was too close to the ball at a Munich free hit in the 14th minute. You just should not get into boxplay against these guys – and FBC Munich underlined that. It took them just 13 seconds until Cem Beschl sniped the ball into the net – 1-3 after 15 minutes.
Dessau fights back… and scores
Munich felt to be on route in the second period as well. Nicolas Zinßer scored the fourth goal for Munich after exactly two minutes. However, the pocket rocket of Dessau was Steinbrück. His next entry to the match report, a bench penalty after an incorrect hit (21st), was rather unfortunate. However, Dessau managed to survive in boxplay. In the 26th minute, Philipp Hübner sent Steinbrück to another fast-break – and Dessau was back in the game.

The match gained quite some intensity now. Steinbrück even managed to score his third goal with 93 seconds left on the clock. This time, he converted by a left-wing sniper. Just one goal separated the Black Wolves and Munich after 30 minutes.
Munich celebrates early
With two early goals in the third period (Zinßer, 33rd, Unterberger 35th), Munich felt to march away, but Dessau did not give up. Right after a time-out, Wim Könnig coverted the tip in after a Steinbrück shot in the 38th minute.

There was a slight chance for a comeback, but an incorrect substitution sent a Dessau player to the sin-bin again. Beschl had his second power-play goal of the match (42nd), followed by another goal by Jaron Mayer just a minute thereafter. Munich already celebrated the German championship, when Wilm Könnig added a goal for Dessau in the final minute.
German Under 15 Floorball Nationals Final – My View
TV Eiche Horn Bremen organized a great tournament. Unfortunately, there were some issues on the rules and regulations side. Floorball Deutschland should definitely better take care of these things. The Nationals at the end of the season are a great way to promote the sports and connect quite many new people to the great sports of floorball. The final was a worthy highlight of the tournament. Dessau fought hard, but struggled with their discipline. FBC Munich was the dominant team in Bremen, though. Their skillset felt absolutely superior to what you can expect on Under 15 level. Overall, most matches stayed at a very fair level. It was definitely worth traveling to the beautiful new arena in Bremen.
