Coming back from a trip to Krakow, I more or less immediately ran into the new releases as of 28th March 2025. My post about new songs kicks off with a German artist and a rather light sound – but there will also be a lot of opportunity to rock this time. Here are 17 new song releases of the last seven days.
Jennifer Siemann – Feiertag
Jennifer Siemann is leading the Songs of the Week this time with a really interesting schlager-pop track. The Berlin-origin artist majorly been known as a musical actress, but also worked in music. Since 2021, she is also active as a musician.
Tania Levy – Schöne Männer
This track is a schlager track with some nice country music vibes. The lyrics are rather on the easy side, but the song is definitely catching and comes with good dancing vibes. A nice one by this artist from Hamburg.
Rami Hattab* – Dieter
Hallo Dieter, dieser Song hier ist für Dich – “Hi Dieter, this song here is for you” is the key phrase of this track. Rami Hattab* is originally from Wiesbaden, but grew his audience majorly on social media. One striking argument is likely his intense voice. I really like this one.
Fast Boy & Clock Clock – Born Again
The press note to Born Again calls this one the feelgood soundtrack for the beginning of spring. The electornic dance pop duo Fast Boy from Frankfurt is joining forces with Clock Clock from Mannheim. A really nice collaboration. Enjoy dancing!
Bunch of Ace – No Trouble
The twin sisters do it again. After I featured Alessja and Alandra with their My Guitar in the 28th February 2025 Songs of the Week, here is the title track of their upcoming album. A really nice pop-rock blend again.
Honey I’m Home – Wishful Thinking
What a lovely band name. In fact, Wishful Thinking is the debut single by the Dutch indie-pop project, which also has some dreampop and shoegaze elements in their sounds. I really like it.
Easy Easy – Alles leid außer Dir
Easy Easy are just about to release their debut album. The rock band from Cologne already had a very successful and tour in 2024 after releasing four EPs so far.
The Bug Club – Jealous Boy
Already on Monday, The Bug Club released Jealous Boy. The indie-rockers from Wales just announced their album Very Human Features. It will be released on 13th June 2025.
LustfingeR – Clownswelt
I featured LustfingeR from Munich a couple of times, including their 2022 self-titled album. They even made it to my Red Carpet Impressions of the debut performance of the 2023 Rock of Ages Tour. In Clownswelt, they settle up with nowadays politics. A really good one by the punk rockers, again.
Linkin Park – Up From the Bottom
Fans discussed about the new female vocalist Emily Armstrong a lot. However, songs like Up From the Bottom sow how much the US-American singer is adding to the Californian alt rock and nu metal band. I really like their new release.
The Rasmus – Creatures of Chaos
The Finnish alternative rockers are another big name in the rock spheres. The band just had one song release in 2024, Rest In Pieces. The year 2025 is expected to become more intense again.
Evanescence – Afterlife
More US-American rock: Evanescence released Afterlife, which is used for the Netflix series Devil May Cry. A rather characteristic track by the band from Little Rock,, Arkansas. I really like it.
Moncrieff – Shangri-La
Irish singer-songwriter Moncrieff is just about to release his debut album. Maybe It’s Fine is scheduled to be released on 9th May 2025. Shangi-La is another song which makes one look forward to it. In winter 2025, he will tour through twelve countries.
Neiked x Portugal. The Man – Gilde
The Swedish duo Neiked joins forces with the US-American band Portugal. The Man, who are originally from Alaska. The result is a catching pop song with a nice beat.
Nick Howard – Let Me Go
Nick Howard is a British singer-songwriter from Brighton. He is already releasing music since 2008. He has quite some popularity in Germany where he won the 2012 edition of The Voice of Germany. This one is another really nice pop track.
Henry Moodie – indigo
Henry Moodie is working on his debut album, which is thought to be released in late 2025. The 2004-artist has already been streamed over 500 million times. A really good song, which will add some counts on this statistics.
Björn Heuser – Et Levve es schön!
One of my hottest candidates to lead my Songs of the Week this week is Cologne singer Björn Heuser. Even though he just missed it, this song about the beauty of living (“Life is beautiful”) is a lovely listen with a beautiful orchestral arrangement.
