Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 3rd July 2026)

Summer time and high temperatures – time for open air concerts and long summer night parties. There are some summer songs in my Songs of the Week this time – but my list of new song releases starts with a rock track this week.

Kissin’ Dynamite – Glory Days

Kissin’ Dynamite is a hard rock band from Southern Germany. With their upcoming, self-titled studio album (release 18th September 2026), they also farewell their singer Hannes Braun. He has to leave the band due to health-related issues. Let’s party with these guys – and all the best for your future!

The Temperance Movement – Eat You Alive

Fans of The Temperance Movement have to wait slightly longer for a new album. New Promise Land, the fourth record by the British modern rock band, will be available on 9th October 2006. Eat You Alive is a nice feature single.

Paul Kowol – Kinder der Nacht

It’s more than three years since I featured Paul Kowol the last time. In my 14th April 2023 Songs of the Week, I shared Letzter Trip. The German artist is having a couple of shows this summer. A lovely, emotional pop song.

Sebastian Schub – Kiss of Life. (You’re Kinda Magical)

Sebastian Schub is a German artist, who was born in Berlin, grew up in Hamburg and came back to Germany after living in London for ten years. With SIng Like Madonna, he already had a really successful song. Here is his new single release.

Jeden Tag Silvester – Willkommen im Club

Jeden Tag Silvester (“Every Day New Year’s Eve”) sing “Welcome To The Club”. And, indeed, these catching vibes make you dance. A really nice summer pop track by the Northern German quartet.

Chapter 7 – Du reißt alles in mir auf

Chapter 7 is a really interesting collaboration, founded earlier this year. Daniel Brandes is a German producer and singer. He is a couple with Gracia Baur, the other part of Chapter 7. Gracia Baur? German music fans know this name. In 2002, she was part of the debut season of the Deutschland sucht den Superstar TV talent show, in 2005 she was rather unfortunate representing Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest. Their new project feels to have a lot of potential, I love the depth and atmosphere of this song.

Stadtpoet – Mein Sommer

“That’s my summer, my town” – this indie-pop track from Austria is a perfect soundtrack for a warm, long summer day. I really love these vibes.

Björn Heuser & Dennis Kleimann – Bella Colonia

This song has somehow exactly the same topic. It’s just located some kilometers further Northwest. Björn Heuser is doing what he is doing best: praising his home town Cologne in local dialect and a touch of folk and country. For Bella Colonia, he worked with Dennis Kleimann, who is best known as a member of the former local rock band Stadtrebellen.

Julia Meladin – Letzter Sommer

“If that’s our last summer” – Julia Meladin takes her very own version of a summer pop track. With Letzter Sommer, the German pop artist is also teasing the upcoming release of a new EP.

Cascada – YOUtopia

Cascada – or Natalie Horler – already made people dance in the 2000’s. Her EDM sound still feels timeless.  The Rheinland artist (who is born in Bonn) is also touring all over Eurupe – it feels so well deserved that she is still having that high level of popularity.
