Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 27th June 2025)

While my Song of the Week posts have been rather short the last weeks, this one will be a long one. A lot of great songs have been released this week – so that I even had to skip some track which easily would have made it last week or the week before. The leading song is not Modern Talking, by the way.

Marti Fischer & Benvinls – Furious

Mart Fischer is a German producer, who is also driving a really good YouTube channel. He had a big song in Germany with the tongue-twister song Barbaras Rhabarberbar, alongside Bodo Wartke. Furious, recorded alongside Russian producer Benvinls, is a steadily improved song, which reaches its climax with this release this week. It sounds so 1980’s, it sounds so much like Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders. I love it.

Stella Maria – Wait For Me In Line

Stella Maria is a pop singer-songwriter from Vienna. The 15 year old is debuting on Flyctory.com with Wait For Me In Line. I really love this catching pop track.

Ramazuri – Dubai

Ramazuri are an Austrian ska-punk band. Dubai has the potential to become one of the weirdest summer vibes. The song has a very critical and ironic look on Instagram, being an Influencer and the desire to travel to Dubai. Du willst Glitzer sehen, ich will ins Waldbad gehen (“You want to see glitter, I want to go to the forest pool”) – I just had to smile when listening to this song. Despite I really like the United Arab Emirates.

Tammy – Heit is a guader Dog

My release radar this week also features three schlager tracks. Heit is a guader Dog (“Today is a good day”) is the second time I feature Southern German artist Tammy. In my 21st June 2024 edition, I already shared her song Heiss aber cool.

Beatrice Egli – Au Revoir

Beatrice Egli is already looking forward to her 2026 tour (see my Tour Date Overview). Au Revior is another feature single of her upcoming album Hör nie auf damit (“Never stop doing that”). At the UEFA Women Soccer European Championships in Switzerland, she will also be present and has been confirmed as one of the singers of the Swiss national anthem.

Ben Zucker – Angelina

Ben Zucker is back with a new song. The song also kicks off the pre-order for his new album Kämpferherz (“Fighter Heart”), which is scheduled to be released on 2nd October 2025. He is about to kick off his open air tour on 4th July 2025. I am sure the shows will be great, like the ones I featured in Monheim in July 2023 and in Cologne in November 2019.

Santiano – Ekke Nekkepenn

The German shantyrockers Santiano are working towards their new album Da braut sich was zusammen. Their new song feels promising – and will be a backbone of their upcoming open air tour.

The Lazys – Hot Under the Collar

The Lazys are an Australian hard rock band. In August and September, they are touring Europe. Hot Under The Collar is a good reason to check out your favorite ticket website for them.

Smash Into Pieces – Broken Halo

There are these bands and acts, which almost certainly make it to my Songs of the Week when they release a new track. The Swedish rockers Smash Into Pieces are one of them. The 2008-founded band from Örebro shared Broken Halo this week – and I again love it.

Papa Roach feat. Toby Morse – Braindead

The first US-American act on my this week’s list are Papa Roach. The Californian rock and metal band join forces with H20 singer Toby Morse for their new song. Braindead is a really hot rocker.

DARI – Pocket Full Of Hope

DARI recently announced his new album Better Love, which he will share in late January 2026. The Cologne artist became popular when he was part of the 2016 edition of The Voice of Germany. So far, he has just released one album (VLI, 2019), but more and more established in the German music scene.

Good Charlotte – Rejects

Good Charlotte released their new song Rejects on Wednesday. The Maryand-origin quintet has developed their characteristic sound, which they share for almost three decades now. I really enjoyed listening to this one.

Lewis Capaldi – Survive

There are only a few artists in the world who already had three songs, which have been streamed more than a billion times on Spotify. The Glasgow-native Lewis Capaldi is one of them. This week, he released his emotional and touching Survive – and impresses with his amazing voice.

ClockClock – Adore Ya

Adore Ya already leads to the sixth appearance of ClockClock in my Songs of the Week postings. The song has quite some country vibes as well. Nonetheless, I put the German band from Mannheim into this part of Flyctory.com.

Only The Poets – Emotionally Hungover

The British indie-pop band Only The Poets is regarded to be one of the United Kingdom’s finest live acts. This week, the quartet from Reading released Emotionally Hungover – another really catching rhythmic track.

Renee Rapp – Mad

Three million people are following Renee Rapp on Instagram on Instagram. The North Carolina native is successful as an actress as well as a musician. This week, she released her new song Mad. A really nice modern track with a nice character by the US-American.

Sarah McLachlan – Better Broken

Canadian triple Grammy Award winner Sarah McLachlan is doing the slow and emotional finale of this week’s episode. Better Broken will be the title track of her tenth studio album, which will be released on 19th September 2025.
