In March and April 2026, I wanted to introduce my wife to the special vibes of Nashville. For her, it had been the first time visiting Music City. As we also had quite some plans outside Downtown, we went for one of the rather suburban Hilton Hotels options. Here is my review of the Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – Location
Brentwood is a Southern suburb of Nashville. It is rather well-known as quite a lot of (music) celebrities live there. The hotel itself is located right at the I-650, connecting to Downtown, but also to Huntsville and Decatur in Alabama. Thus, it is quite handy. The area is a mixture of commercial and residential. There are a few hotels around. The number of services like restaurants or stores on that side of the interstate is limited. There is a slightly wider range of them on the opposite side of it and North of the hotel.
If you stay at the hotel, you very, very likely go there by car. The hotel features a large parking lot. Being located some 9 miles South of Downtown, it is disappointing (but transparent on their website) that the hotel charges you 12 USD (pre-tax) per car, per night, even if you stay there.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – Atmosphere
The architecture of the hotel is really stunning and welcoming. The rooms are arranged over four floors, mainly arranged around an atrium. This one features the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – Room
My wife and I had four nights at the hotel, from Monday to Thursday in March / April 2026. The sale rate (i.e. with very restricted cancellation) for the One King One Bedroom Suite was 846.35 USD in total, including taxes and the parking fee. The suite had a nice size. The living room felt welcoming and had a small microwave oven and fridge in one corner of the room. Surprisingly, the entire suite did not feature any kind of work desk. This is especially remarkable as the Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites obviously aims for business travelers.

The king bedroom had a typical Hilton suite design. Unfortunately, the this also includes that the space around the bed is comparably limited. In contrast to that, the shower bathroom felt comparably spacious and also offered sufficient opportunity to place your personal toiletry items. The maintenance and cleaning of the room felt fine. The room had already been an upgrade. However, we had originally booked a room with bathtub – and this “upgrade” did only have a shower. I felt that the hotel staff should have explicitly asked us whether this is okay.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – Executive Lounge / Breakfast
The hotel serves breakfast in a restaurant. However, as a Hilton Honors Diamond member, we did not receive any food credit and had access to the lounge instead. It was located next to the entrance and felt like an upgraded hallway. Nonetheless, the style was nice. Unfortunately, any additional experience was poor. First of all, the opening times were weird. The lounge is not open on weekends. Monday to Thursday, it is operating from 6:00 to 20:00, breakfast until 9:00 (we have not been the only guests who were surprised by this early closing). On Friday, the lounge closes at noon. Thus, the lounge service felt like the bare minimum preventing that the hotel has to give food & beverage credit.

Apart from the weird timing, the breakfast service was a nightmare. Regardless whether you arrived early or late, the restocking of items was absolutely lame (sorry, there is no other words than it). Bread items, fruit, other options – grabbing something from its limited selection felt like a morning nutrition lottery to us. We did not attend the snack and bar service on the evening, but during ordinary opening times, the selection of snacks and drinks felt limited as well.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – Service
The check-in experience was fine. Check-out at the hotel did not feel too welcoming. The hotel ofers very nicely working internet connection in the room. There is also a pool and gym area, which is located in one corner of the hotel. The pool has a rather nice style. Unfortunately, you have to cross the pool area to get into the gym. This is not only a bit of bothering but also means that you cannot use the gym area once the pool is closed.

Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites – My View
I don’t get the concept of this hotel. It feels like a place aiming for business people. The ridiculous lounge opening times suggest that as well. However, having no work desk in the room, absolutely lacking service in the executive lounge and other issues with that stay simply leave too negative impressions. That’s such a shame. The location is really nice – even though the route from I-65 is a bit of tricky. From inside and outside, the Hilton Brentwood/Nashville Suites is a beauty. The prices are fine as well. But if you stay at a rather modern Hilton spot, you simply must not miss hospitality. I would not recommend the place.
