Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 5th December 2025)

Feels like the year 2025 is slowly coming to an end. While there are quite a lot of Best of and extended releases, there were not too many songs I really felt sharing for my Songs of the Week this time. Despite my short list of newly released songs, there are some really fine ones. The good, old quality and quantity thing… Enjoy my first post of this series in December 2025.

Julia Meladin – Kein Geschenk

I felt starting the post with a Christmas song this time. How cannot relate to having Kein Geschenk – no gift – right before the holiday. Julia Meladin from Brandenburg in Germany presents this track with nice pop-rock vibes.

Hana Lili – Undress Me

After the 24th October 2025 edition, it is the second time I feature Welsh artist Hana Lili in my Songs of the Week. A beautiful, intimate, well told pp music story of an already failing relationship.

PAENDA – Fires

Even though I haven’t featured Austrian PAENDA with any of her three albums and EPs each, the former Eurovision Song Contest artist did make it into my Songs of the Week quite frequently. This fragile, personal song feels like a perfect match to the colder winter times. New releases for 2026 are already in the pipeline – look forward to them.

Joerg Strube – One Christmas Night

Christmas is – obviously – more and more a topic in the music releases at this time. I really loved this Christmas ballad by German composer and songwriter Joerg Strube. If you need some Christmas hugs, this might be a good choice for your playlist.

Darlin – Daylight Doesn’t Count

Darlin is a pop artist from Berlin. Her modern track Daylight Doesn’t Count is the second single release of her upcoming album project The Pluto Club. Nice one!

Joshville – Verboten schön

The Rheinland countryschlager artist Joshville released his new song Verboten schön this week. The song is a choice for your New Year’s party rather than for the more cozy holiday moments. A quite impressing and intense arrangement.

Engst – Sag mir Warum

Another German act from Berlin I feature this week is Engst. The punk and rock band celebrated their tenth band anniversary this year. In February 2026, they will release their album Gute Laune (“Good Mood”). Their new song is definitely a cheerful appetizer for that.
