Flyctory.com Pros

  • Very nice and fluent listen debut
  • Characteristic style
  • Good storytelling

As Friday, 31st October 2025, is a holiday in some parts of Germany, there are quite a few releases the days. One of them is he debut EP by Alrighty Aphrodite. The name sounds like a band, but it is majorly a project by Marc Feldes from. The title itself comes with an intense mission. The EP is called I Don’t Know If I’ve Come Of Age, But I’m Certainly Older Now. I had a listen.

Alrighty Aphrodite – About The Artist

Alrighty Aphrodite is an artist from Hamburg. He started to release songs in 2024, when he shared a demo version of Loud But Silently. His music is indie-rock in the style of bands like The Kooks or Arctic Monkeys.

Alrighty Aphrodite – I Don’t Know If I’ve Come Of Age, But I’m Certainly Older Now – Track by Track

The five track EP lasts 21 minutes.

1. Helena

The opener Helena describes a love story. After years of a relationship, they ask themselves if “just” being in love is still enough. Based on a true story, the powerful song comes with a typical indie-rock style and distorted, rough vocals.

2. Loud But Silently

The second song deals with inner struggle. The song does not have as much rock power as the opener. However, its swaying style feels very catching and stays in your mind. This leads to a very enjoyable listen.

3. Teenage Angst

Teenage Angst is a song which has not been shared before the EP. Regarding the style, the song rather leans towards the opener. However, it stays a bit slower. Alrighty Aphrodite describes the struggle in your 20s. The song is a contrast of struggling and dreaming parts – and thus feels very relatable.

4. New In Town

One of the songs released before the EP is New In Town. The song is not also about a new local situation, but about new emotions and falling in love. You hear the happiness and excitement while listening to the album. The rough vocal style stays and turns into a signature element of the music of the German artist.

5. Lavender

The EP closes with Lavender. The song deals with a long-distance relationship. The playful bass lines add a certain ease to the listen, the song feels very melodic and has some mainstream potential. I really like this very different aspect of Alrighty Aphrodite’s work.

Alrighty Aphrodite – I Don’t Know If I’ve Come Of Age, But I’m Certainly Older Now – My View

I feel that the EP (with the massive title…) is a very promising five track showcase of Alrighty Aphrodite. Within his comfort zone of music, the artist shows a lovely range of different songs. The storytelling works out as well. I look forward to have more music by him in the future.

Favorite Song: Lavender
