Country Music Picks (New Songs) July 2024

My Country Music Picks are back! I just felt that there is so much more music I want to cover on Flyctory.com – especially new releases. Thus I felt to feature tracks which I just did not fit into my Country Music Playlists. Thus, I decided to go for a monthly sum-up of new releases of a month. This time, I cover the late June to July 2024 songs.

New Songs of the Week of 28th June 2024

Here are the songs I just wanted to share with you of the week of 28th June 2024.

Twinnie – Hey Y’All Hey

Twinnie released this song in parallel to her EP Blue Hour (Before The Dawn)Somehow, the end of her break-up section.

Jenna DeVries – Everything You

Jenna DeVries is one of the many very talented artists, who pushed their career by contesting in American Idol. A nice song with a good rock touch.

Timmy McKeever – What I’m Missing

This artist is coming from Huntington Beach in California. He is coming with almost 30k followers on Instagram already.

American Aquarium – Messy As A Magnolia

I added this song to my picks of July 2024 before I finally reviewed the band’s album The Fear of Standing Still. Like the whole album, this one is an excellent listen.

The Cumberland River Project feat. Claire Virginia – Love Will Save Us All

The last song I share of this week is the collaboration of the lovely The Cumberland River Project with Claire Virginia. Another great writer by the lovely Frank from Hagen in Germany.

New Songs of the Week of 5th July 2024

Here are the songs I just wanted to share with you of the week of 5th July 2024.

Katie Noel – Neon Tan

Three weeks after this single release, Katie Niel shared her EP Get Back To You with us. Neon Tan has been a good appetizer.

Vic Allen – Bad Weather

I simply love young British artist Vic Allen and her music. On 5th July 2024, she shared her new single Bad Weather. Definitely a release worth listening to.

New Songs of the Week of 12th July 2024

Here are the songs I just wanted to share with you of the week of 12th July 2024.

Blackwater Railroad Company – Raging Bull in the Barroom

On 12th July 2024, the band Blackwater Railroad Company released the album A Lovely Place to Die. The opening track is one of my favorites on it.

Russell Dickerson – Bones

Russell Dickerson is one of the these country music artists who constantly delivers great new music. Bones is no exception.

Kelleigh Bannen – Cherry Coke Can

Nashville-born Kalleigh Bannen released this song, which simply made me smile. The 43 year old artist is already a professional musician since 2008 – this one is one of her finest tracks in my point of view.

Dasha – Didn’t I

California-origin female country artist Dasha is one of the of most thriving acts in the business currently. Bad luck that I cannot make it to one of her European shows. The summer vibe song Didn’t I is definitely promising.

Drew Parker – Hillbilly Billionaires

Drew Parker is a country artist originally from Georgia. In the week of 12th July 2024, he released this honky-tonk smasher. Nice listen.

HARDY feat. Know – Happy Hour

12th July was also the release date of HARDY’s album Quit!. Quite a variety of songs, which mix country with hard rock and rap elements. My favorite listen has been Happy Hour.

New Songs of the Week of 19th July 2024

Here are the songs I just wanted to share with you of the week of 19th July 2024.

Wild Ponies – Love You Right Now

Doug and Telisha Williams are in the business since over two decades. Their 19th July 2024 is a treat for traditional country music fans.

Jillian Cardarelli – Thinking and Driving

Even though I did not feature her that frequently recently – Jillian Cardarelli is one of the female country music artists who are on the top of my favorite list. The more, I am happy that I can feature her in my revived posting format.

Cody Webb – Tin Can

Cody Webb released the very groovy Tin Can, a song with a nice vibe, that week. Nice song with a lot of country music power.

New Songs of the Week of 26th July 2024

Here are the songs I just wanted to share with you of the week of 26th July 2024.

The Castellows feat. Wyatt Flores – Sober Sundays

In February 2024, I featured the Castellows EP A Little Goes A Long Way. Last week, the rather traditional style female country music trio released this song with Cody Webb. Nice listen.

Tigirlily Gold – Only Once

Another female country music act on this list is Tigirlily Gold. I really love their music. Last week, they released their album Blonde. I went for this song in my Country Music Picks.

Zac Hart – Death of Me

His website states Zac Hart, is an artist whose inevitable rise is already attracting the eyes and ears of country fans and beyond. A southern boy with a natural pop-sensibility, and a seasoned performer with an electrifying cadence, Zac pays homage to the mainstay country format without compromising his own vision and brand. Maybe a bit too much in regards of self-marketing, but I really like his new

Max McNown – Fishing Line

Max McNown is an artist from Oregon. I like the banjo-driven, gentle sound of his new release Fishing Line.

Lecade – Glass

With Lecade, I feature an artist from Louisiana. Last weekend, he shared his new song Glass. A really nice typical modern country track.

Lee Brice – Summer Of Us

Lee Brice is an excellent songwriter. Summer Of Us is another proof for that. Lovely new release.

Justin Moore – Put A Booth In It

If I select Justin Moore for this “minor” list of songs, this already underlines that the week of 26th July had some really strong releases. Here is a country rock track by Moore.

Title picture: Vic Allen – Bad Weather single cover

Country Music Picks – The Playlist

I will also present the new songs of a month in a new, dedicated playlist. The playlist will be completely flushed and reset with the next Country Music Picks posting.
