Musa Dagh, number 3: the album Endurance is already the third album I reviewed by the German band. After No Future (2023) and Musa Dagh (2021), here is my review of the 11th September 2026 release, which is the third studio record of the band.

 

Musa Dagh – About The Artist

Musa Dagh is a German noise rock band founded in 2021. However, only guitarist Aren Emirze is a still active founding member of the band. In 2025, they introduced the singer and bassist Safi and drummer Martin Dog Kessler. The likely most well-known former band member is Sascha Hansen, who was Musa Dagh’s drummer from 2022 to 2024.

 

Musa Dagh – Endurance – Track by Track

The ten song album lasts 35 minutes.

1. Hollow Rooms

The first three songs of the album have been released as feature singles. With Hollow Room, Endurance opens with its longest track. The versatile voice of the band’s new singer Safi is striking, even though I feel some discord between her voice and the instrument from time to time. The song starts rather moderate, but especially the later instrumental sections add quite a lot of force and energy.

2. Beggars Banquet

After the longest song of their 2026 record, Musa Dagh presents its briefest listen. Beggars Banquet is just 2:16 minutes long. It begins with the psychedelic, virtuous style of the predecessor and quickly raises the force level even higher. Noise rock might be a disturbing genre for some listeners, but actually, the trio does a really fine job here.

3. Lights Of The Shadows

The third song, Lights Of The Shadows, heads towards metal genres. The guitar and the bass add quite a lot of power, which even supercedes the vocals. Nonetheless, it is a really nice listen.

 

4. Human Factor

The first previously unreleased song on Endurance is Human Factor. The song comes with a rather melodic style. On the vocal side, the song is lead by one of the male band members, which leads to a nice contrast to the songs before. Overall, the song is slower, a bit of melancholic and does rather attract the alternative rock listener.

5. Not Even A Name

Another really surprising track is Not Even A Name. The instrumental background feels threatening, the vocal side, driven by Safi again, also rather feels like the soundtrack of a horror movie. In the context of the album, this track feels like an interlude, even though it is about three minutes long.

6. Guillotine

After this rather quiet episode, Musa Dagh present their aggressive side again. The short episode Guillotine partially feels chaotic, but then also has very fine elements. The dark, threatening atmosphere stays, even though this one is much more dominated by the guitar riffs.

7. Fragments

Fragments, another song which has been shared before the album is another treat for noise rock fans. The vocals are more dominant than in other songs. Nonetheless, the two boys give their guitar and drums a tough time. However, Musa Dagh also added a fine melodic component to this song. Overall, this leads to a very nice versatility and one of the most interesting songs of Endurance.

8. Goddine

Fast hitting drums, energetic guitar work, groovy bass, and a mixture of sung and screamed vocals – Goddine is truly one of the energetic powerhouses. Here and there, the instrumental parts lean towards a psychedelic experience. Once you allow the song to develop, it is a really nice and intense one.

9. Denier

With almost five minutes, Denier is the second longest song of the album. From slower, melancholic sections to rocking break-outs, this one has a lot in stock. The band uses the longer duration to develop and interesting and versatile plot. Thus, the sogn does not become boring at all.

10. One Way Or The Other

This one is the finale of Endurance. The song is slightly softer, the song here and there reminds of more mainstream-alike alternative rock. The song is very enjoyable, especially its more laid back parts. Definitely a nice one.

Musa Dagh – Endurance – My View

Endurance is likely not an album for mainstream rock fans. Musa Dagh defined their own style, which sometimes tend to be close to its limits. However, their latest album also presents quite a wide range of ideas and styles, which makes it really enjoyable.
