  • Large suite room
  • Good traffic connections
  • Very good value for money

For my short three night trip to Las Vegas, watching two Weird Al Yankovic shows at the Venetian, I opted for the Homewood Suites by Hilton Las Vegas Airport. The key factors were the close distance to the rental car center of the airport as well as many more central Hilton options are transformed into Hilton Grand Vacation nowadays. Last, but not least: the Venetian was simply out of budget for me. Here is my review.

Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport – Location

The hotel is located right South of the runways of Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Despite the location, I did not feel any sound disturbance by landing or taking off airplanes (however, I am also not too sensitive about it). Apart from the Homewood Suites, there are two additional Hilton chain hotels at the same block, te Spark by Hilton Las Vegas Airport and the Tru by Hilton Las Vegas Airport. Both are rather new brands and thus rather modern. There are not too many attractions nearby. However, the Las Vegas Airport Car Rental Center is almost across the road. This was a key argument for me to choose the hotel – I had a rather early flight on my departure day.

Despite there are bis stations around the hotel, the Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport is made for car travelers. The I-215 is located right South of its premises. Parking is shared with the two other hotels, it is complimentary. The parking lot is rather large, so that I did not have issues finding a spot, even after the shows.

Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport – Room

I had a three night stay in July 2025, Thursday to Sunday. The semi-flex rate for a non-smoking King Studio was a total of 460.35 USD including tax. Apart from free parking and the location, one additional reason for my choice was that the hotel is not taking resort fees or other similar Las Vegas scams. I really liked the suite, which came with a typical Homewood Suites layout. The key room was the major living room, which came with a major sofa and the large, fully equipped kitchen. The fridge had a typical large North American size. Additionally, the room featured a microwave oven, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. I really liked the fact that the living room had a separate work desk. These are often in the sleeping area, which may be disturbing if you travel together.

As expected, the separate sleeping room was rather compact compared to the living room. However, it was absolutely fine and got its job done. The sleeping room had an additional TV set. From there, you could reach the bathroom with a combined shower and North American tub. The sink was in a room in front of it. The room was clean and well maintained. The overall size of the suite room was very comfortable.

Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport – Breakfast

The lobby area of the Homewood Suite Las Vegas Airport also featured the large breakfast area. The morning meal is complimentary for all guests. Nonetheless, the hotel was well booked and depending on the time you arrived, you did have to wait for the table for a short time. Breakfast at Homewood Suites is a slightly upgraded Hampton breakfast. The Las Vegas hotel did very nice in there, with different warm dishes, waffles and all items you typically expect at that Hilton chain.

Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport – Service

I could not spot the outdoor pool, which is stated on the website. The hotel drives a nice and well maintained gym, which might be a bit on the small side for a hotel of that size. My check-in and check-out experience was rather nice, the staff was very welcoming. I also enjoyed the well-working WiFi connection.

Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport – My View

The location of the Homewood Suites Las Vegas Airport feels a bit of remote. However, if you have a rental car, it comes with very nice traffic connections. The noise from the adjacent airport is surprisingly limited. I like the Homewood Suites concept, the services are good and I had a really nice stay in the Las Vegas summer heat.
