I had a quite turbulent and emotional November 2024. The more, I appreciated good music. Here is my overview of new releases in that month, which did not make it into my other playlists. Hope you enjoy the song selection.
New Songs of the Week of 1st November 2024
The Halloween season lead to a rather limited number of releases. Nonetheless, there was quite a nice selection of new songs.
Cody Smith – Every Little Thing
Cody Smith is opening my list of new releases in November 2024. The Tampa resident released Every Little Thing. No, it is not a Carly Pearce cover.
Taylor Rae – Drunk Plans
She moved from California to Texas to further pursue her music career – Taylor Rae released Drunk Plans in very early November 2024. A slower, but really energetic new release.
Anna Vaus – Trace of You
The California artist Anna Vaus names Joni Mitchell, Taylor Swift and Stevie Nicks as her early idols. Her new song Trace of You indeed has a rather classical and lyrical touch. Sh
Sam Barber feat. Avery Anna – Restless Mind
Sam Barber is teaming up with Avery Anna for his new single Restless Mind. A really nice duet.
Chris Janson – Cheap
I lost a bit of track of Chris Janson in recent past. In early November, he released Cheap. Not a party smasher like Buy Me A Boat, but a really nice and rather straight contemporary country music track.
Zac & George – Boys From The Country
Zac & George are Boys From The Country, according to their new single release. The Australian duo were best mates in school already. Now they are living in Nashville.
The Cumberland River Project feat. Easton Driver – When The Wind Picks Up
Frank is simply doing great music. The German and his project The Cumberland River Project released a new song, collaborating with Easton Driver as a vocalist. Lovely sound.
New Songs of the Week of 8th November 2024
There have been some quite interesting new songs in the first full week of November 2024.
Chris Andreucci – Same Ol’ Me
This week is starting with another non-North American artist. Chris Andreucci is a Scottish artist, who turned professional at the age of 19. Nice sound.
Cameron Whitcomb – Medusa
Medusa is a modern country-pop track with strumming guitars and a nice speed. The song makes you dance and stays in your mind. Thus, he just slightly missed my main playlist.
Tebey – Payphone
Canadian artist remembers the good old Payphone in that week. Or at least he reminds of the song, which has been released by Maroon 5 in 2012. Nice cover version.
Noah Rinker – Red Bandana
Noah Rinker is a California artist from Auberry. In early November 2024, he released Red Bandana, which comes in a rather traditional style and a touch of folk music. Nice.
Christina Taylor – Pretty Like You
So great to finally have a new song by Christina Taylor out. She is back from her maternity leave – Pretty Like You is a nice comeback single.
New Songs of the Week of 15th November 2024
My birthday weekend 🙂 I have spent that time in Munich – but of course I scanned the world of country music for new releases.
Manni Britz – Country Music Is Never Dying Out
There is also some interesting country music from Germany. On 15th November, Manni Britz released the album Country Inside. Unfortunately, I did not have the capacity to review it, but here is one of my favorite listens.
Shaboozey – Good News
Shaboozey is one of the most interesting and present artists in the wider country music scene. On 15th November 2024, he released the track Good News. A really nice listen.
Gwen Stefani – Reminders
I struggled with Gwen Stefani’s country-pop debut album Bouquet, but there are some nice tracks in it as well. For the Country Music Picks, I went for Reminders.
Haley Mae Campbell – Looking At Houses
Born in New York City, raised in the Carolinas – and doing great music. That’s a one sentence bio about Haley Mae Campbell, who fascinated me with a very interesting and fine new song again. Thumbs up.
Tilsen, Robyn Ottolini, Laila – My Bedroom
Three young ladies are talking singing about their bedroom… Very tempting to have some thoughts about it, but I prefer listening to their music. The single release really woks out nicely.
Brooks & Dunn feat. Mitchell Tenpenny – That Ain’t No Way To Go
For the second time, Brooks & Dunn release new versions of their greatest hits, collaborating with country music artists and musicians typically known for other genres. The corresponding album is named Reboot II – and I picked this song.
Charley Crockett – Hey Mr. Nashville
I featured Charley Crockett and his songs rather frequently. Thus, I am really flattered when there is a new song by the Americana artist. Like the really nice Hey Mr. Nashville.
Alexandra King – I’d Be Lying
Artist, wedding singer and more – Alexandra King indeed comes wit a nice portfolio of songs. That week, the Irish-origin artist shared this song.
Payton Smith – Camouflage Town
The 2000-Texas born artist grew up in Houma near New Orleans in Louisiana. His song Camouflage Town is a really nice and energetic new country track.
New Songs of the Week of 22nd November 2024
My 22nd November 2024 starts with two cover songs.
Lonestar – Try
Lonestar is covering Miley Cyrus on her birthday weekend. Try sounds so different in this version by the country legends – I definitely like it!
Cooper Alan & Aloe Blacc – Wake Me Up (Country Version)
This one is the Avicii classic with some country vibes. Not as characteristic as the Lonestar version of Try before, but definitely a nice listen as well.
Mason Horne – Front Of The Back
Mason Horne (also Douglas) is an upcoming artist from South Carolina. I really like his November 2024 song, Front Of The Back.
Jameson Rodgers – I’m Drinkin’ Tonight
Mississippi-origin Jameson Rogers turned 37 in October 2024. About a month later, he released I’m Drinkin’ Tonight. Hopefully, there is no correlation, after having two US Country Airplay chart-topping songs already before.
Jason Boland & The Stragglers – High Time
Red dirt and Texas sounds are the home zone of Jason Boland & The Stragglers. They are already active since 1998, with all four of the six current members of the band are founding ones. What a great achievement.
Randy Houser feat. Miranda Lambert – Still That Cowboy
Two big names of country music close my song selection as of 22nd November. Randy Houser invited nobody but Miranda Lambert for this duet – a nice listen with a classic touch.
New Songs of the Week of 29th November 2024
Due to Thanksgiving, there were just a few new songs released in that week.
Runaway June – He Ain’t My Problem
I really liked Runaway June and also covered two of their releases in here, the 2020 When I Think About Christmas and the 2019 album Blue Roses. However, there have been too many changes in their line-up and I somehow lost track of them. That week, they released a new song. Overall, a really nice one.

Country Music Picks – The Playlist
I will also present the new songs of a month in a new, dedicated playlist. The playlist will be completely flushed and reset with the next Country Music Picks posting.
