  • Nice, modern design
  • Good services

Flying Qatar Airways Business Class from Belgrade (BEG) to Doha (DOH) gave me a rather rare experience. While I already introduced you briefly to the Business Lounge at the airport in my airport review linked above, I this time went in next door. Qatar Airways is using the Air Serbia Premium Lounge at the Serbian capital – a good opportunity to share my thoughts with you.

Air Serbia Premium Lounge Belgrade (BEG) – Location & Access

The lounge is located opposite Gate A4. It is a short walk to the right after you passed emigration and security. It is located right next to the Business Lounge mentioned above. The directions to the lounge is given throughout the airside part of the airport.

Normal operating times of the lounge are 5:00 to 1:00 daily. The lounge does not accept any lounge passes. Apart from Air Serbia Business Class guests, they are also contracted to a few other airlines. Currently, they are is Qatar Airways, flyDubai, Turkish Airlines and Luxair. As an Air Serbia Economy Class passenger, you can buy in into the lounge. However, the prices are comparably high (some 30 EUR for one hour). There is also a day pass and an annual pass for the lounge available.

Air Serbia Premium Lounge Belgrade (BEG) – Atmosphere

The first impression of the lounge is comparably posh. There are different areas of seating. The main part is having restaurant-style tables, seats and long benches. This part of the lounge also features the bar and the buffet. The lounge has a nice and rather modern design. There are universal power outlets below the benches. Some of them were rather worn down during my visit, though. Nonetheless, I really liked the atmosphere. However, the closer time ran towards noon, the more the lounge filled. I guess the place can really be rather packed.

Air Serbia Premium Lounge Belgrade (BEG) – Food & Drink

Food is given by a buffet. I was there during breakfast times and really liked the down-to-Earth, but very wide selection of items. I especially enjoyed the local sweets and dishes. There were also some warm egg dishes and quite a lot of salad. Drinks are served from the bar, including sodas and coffee. You can only serve yourself directly with bottled water.

Air Serbia Premium Lounge Belgrade (BEG) – Services

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Apart from the damages of the benches, the lounge felt very clean and well-maintained. WiFi is provided by the lounge as well as by the airport and worked very well.

The Air Serbia Premium Lounge in Belgrade also features designated toilets. There is also a toilet for disabled people. There are also multi-faith prayer rooms, separated for men and women.

Air Serbia Premium Lounge Belgrade (BEG) – My View

I had a good time at the Air Serbia Premium Lounge at Belgrade Airport (BEG). The lounge has a nice design and solid services. The staff was very kind. The buy-in for economy class passengers feels too high, but that’s likely in line with the limited capacity at peak times. Overall, I felt that the time spent there was a good one.
