NHL Global Fan Tour during the NHL Global Series in Stockholm 2025 (Pictured Story)

Whenever the NHL Global Series, it is not just about one or two ice hockey games. It is a meeting of the hockey family, people from all over Europe. I cannot say that I felt at Avicii Arena all the time that the league and the organizers got that, but they added some fun around the matches in November 2025 in the city center of Stockholm. The NHL Global Fan Tour is in fact a fan village. Space to make new friends, hang out, have fun – and get in touch with some of the sponsors, of course, as well. I felt to share this experience with you in a Pictured Story – enjoy! There is also a posting about my experience on Sunday as a Superior Platinum hospitality ticket holder.

Kungsträdgarden – Location & Access

The NHL Global Fan Tour was set up in the Northern part of Kungträdgarden, a square in Central Stockholm. The public transport options are majorly tram 7, which brings you to to Central Station and Djurgarden, the island full of museums like the open air one Skansen, the famous Vasa Museum or the ABBA Museum. Alternatively, it is the East terminal of the blue Tunnelbanan metro station. There are also some bus connections at the tram station.

The fan village was just open for three days, during the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Nashville Predator match days. It opened on Friday, 14th November 2025, the day of the first match (16:00 to 23:00), on Saturday and on Sunday, day of the second match (11:00 to 18:00 each). This also means that the fan village was open during the in-fact matches as well. They also broadcasted the matches in there. Portable toilets were provided, even though they could have had some more cleaning from time to time.

NHL Global Fan Tour 2025 – Impressions

The main part of the NHL Global Fan Tour 2025 was in fact a giant tent. Most of the booths were arranged alongside the long walls of the tent. Especially having in mind that this one was just made up for three days, it was actually very nice. There were several games in there. If you made them all (not necessarily successful), you could get a goodie and compete in a lottery for tickets and other fine experiences. All the games were somehow linked to ice hockey, from corn hole to virtual reality goalkeeping. At the end opposite to the entrance, there was also a place to hang out, watch sports – and even have some drinks and basic food. Thus, the place was really quite impressing and fun.

Some of the experiences were located outside as well. First of all, there was the merchandise booth, but also some additional games like accuracy and speed shooting. The advertisement also told you that you can have a picture with the Stanley Cup – but I could not spot that one.
