This mini golf review is somehow special: Island Cove Mini Golf (sometimes also Island Cove Adventure Golf) in the Southeast of Cyprus has been one of the key motivations for me to increase my coverage and review frequency of this way of doing sports or just distracting yourself with some good friends. I visited the 18 holes ground during our October 2022 trip to the beautiful island. Here is my review of Island Cove.

Island Cove Paphos – Location & Admission

The mini golf / adventure golf course is located East of Paphos. Most tourists will feel they are still in the famous Cypriot city (just as I did as well), but in fact you are already in Geroskipou (also: Yeroskipou) in the district of Paphos. Island Cove is located right at Spyrou Kyprianou Ave. there are some other sights in close neighborhood: the Paphos Karting Centre, the Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark and the municipal soccer stadium. We visited neither of these places. Due to the proximity to the beach (where there are several hotels), you might use one of the buses there to get to the mini golf grounds. A rental car is easier, there is sufficient parking.

Island Cove is opening daily from 10:00 to 17:00. The first 18 holes are 7.50 EUR (adult). If you are seeking for a revenge, the second play is 5 EUR.

Island Cove Paphos – Atmosphere

Island Cove really looks nice. The artificial turf lanes are beautifully located within palms and there is also some water around. Despite you are hearing the karts of the next door race track, there is a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. The maintenance of the holes was very good, there were just a few leaves here and there, but no disturbing damages or similar issues.

Island Cove Paphos – The Courses

The 18 holes are typical adventure golf lanes. Overall, playing on them is rather easy, which is also due to the fact that the holes themselves are allowing to be a bit of imprecise in your play. The lanes are comparably easy and especially the first holes don’t come with too big challenges – quite some of them have a straight connection from the tee-off to the target. A nice feature of Island Cove is that they make use of the water on the premises. The sixth one is the first one which requires you to avoid the ball getting wet. There are a few challenges towards the end, but now cracking ones like at Crazy Putt London or at Fantasia Gardens at World Disney World. In contrast, even the later lanes have some really easy designs as well.

Island Cove Paphos – Services

The entrance kiosk is also offering the opportunity to hang out in the shade and enjoy a cold one or a basic snack. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful.

Island Cove Paphos – My View

The course is a nice place for families (and they are the key visitors, very likely). The lanes are easy, the scenery is really nice. If you are rather going for a challenge, it might not be the place of your choice, though.
