C2C Country To Country Berlin 2025 – Day 2 (08.03.2025) – Evening Session

The second day in Berlin was slowly coming to an end. Country To Country 2025 in Berlin hosted the second set of “major” artists on 8th March 2025 on the Main Stage and Spotlight Stage, both located in Uber Eats Music Hall. Here is my concert report.

This posting comes with 634 major size pictures in the C2C 2025 Berlin section of the concert galleries.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 2 – Evening Sessions Lineup

Here is the lineup in Uber Eats Hall on the second evening of Country To Country 2025 in Berlin. Some more details about the artists can be found in my preview post:

Time Main Stage
Spotlight Stage
16:50 Tanner Adell
17:24 Drew Baldridge
17:50 Chase Matthew
18:35 Gareth (originally: Willie Jones)
19:00 Tucker Wetmore
20:05 CeCe
20:30 Dasha
21:45 Sophia Scott
22:10 Midland

Like on all days in 2025, Uber Eats Music Hall opened with a female country music act, Tanner Adell. I was really looking forward to see Dasha on the “full stage” the first time, after she attended the Bluebird Cafe kick-off already. Midland and Willie Jones almost ensured that Berlin would – at least in parts of the evening – have a nice country music party.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 2 – Main Stage Shows

The Saturday lineup on the Main Stage was likely the most diverse one of the festival. One reason for that was the opener, Tanner Adell, who to me rather leaned towards R&B and pop and reminded me of Beyonce. While her fans parties with her big songs like Blackbird, more traditional country music fans rather felt confused about her performance.

Chase Matthew was likely the hidden star of the evening. He and his band gave a lot of energy from the very beginning of the set. With his third song, the Florida Georgia Line cover Cruise latest, the audience was fully in the hand of the artist. Another cover song he featuredwas She’s Country by Jason Aldean. But of course, he also caught the audience with originals like Love You Again. A great and memorable set by the artist, who also did great with the songs of his new album CHASE.

The third set of the evening was Tucker Wetmore. His style of interpreting country music was definitely more modern, but also had quite some fans in the audience. He could not connect to the atmosphere during the Chase Matthew set, but overall, it was a good set including his big hits like Wind Up Missin’ You and Wine Into Whiskey.

Dasha received a Golden Record

Not sure if it really needed another proof that Dasha is an amazing upcoming artist – but the country lady blasted Berlin during her set. She was very likely the most intelligent, charming artist I had seen on the Berlin large stage so far, presenting her songs and interacting with the fans in an impressing way. She also was not tired of praising the girls on International Women’s Day. Just before she wanted to finish her set with Austin (Boots Stop Workin’), the organizers stepped on stage and surprised her with a golden record for her sales in Germany for that song. A truly remarkable performance, country songs rarely made that in recent past. You could feel how much that boosted her last song’s performance. She even went into the audience and performed part of the song on the Spotlight Stage. I felt reminded of Shania Twain – other country fans thought of young Taylor Swift – both not the worst role models, definitely.

Hard to beat that performance – but then, there was Midland. There have been discussions if the band is really worthy being a headline act for the C2C. At 23:30, when the Texas band stepped off stage, I guess there were no arguments left. Their way of bringing their songs with rock and emotions, traditional style and a modern touch on stage is truly impressing. They gave their big party hits as well as rather intimate moments and finished the second day of the festival in a great manner. During the set, they stated that they wanted to transform the International Women’s Day to the International Ladies’ Night – but finally, their set was nothing like an impressing show for people of all genders.

C2C Berlin 2025 – Day 2 – Spotlight Stage

The Spotlight stage during the intermission featured some very interesting artists. The first one was Drew Baldridge, who impressed and caught the audience with his songs, but also his stories. Especially when I told how he lost his record deal and his She’s Somebody’s Daughter became the first independent artist US Country Chart topper was really impressing. The second Spotlight Stage slot was by Gareth, who did a really impressing and energetic set, like the one I saw during daytime on the Holler Stage.

CeCe was the third artist during the intermissions. I have to say that my preview post about her was wrong, I simply picked information about the wrong artist. She had a very modern music style with pop and hip hop elements, but also country vibes. I really liked it. Sophia Scott was another artists I had seem on the Holler Stage during the day. Again, she did a very catching and good set, this time at the Uber Eats Music Hall.
