Friday 13th – an unlucky day for music? At least my new song release radar is rather short this week – I really struggled to find songs this time which I felt are worth sharing. Hope you still like my short new edition of the Songs of the Week.
Alex Blue – Roulette of Love
I’m a 1980’s guy – and songs like this remind me of Modern Talking, Blue System, and the Eurodance era. The artist behind it, is Alex Blue, a Spanish producer. Hope you are a bit of nostalgic as well.
MUNA – Dancing On The Wall
Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson are MUNA. The indie-pop trio from Los Angeles released Dancing On The Wall this week. A catching dance track, which is also teasing their new album. The release date for their fourth long-play overall is 8th May 2026 – this song will be the title track.
Saverio – Incancellabile
I’m currently in Milan for the Winter Olympic Games. Maybe this is why I strongly felt this Italo-pop song by Saverio. Quite remarkably, Incallabile (“Indelible”) is the first song release by the artist since 15 years.
Milow – My Lucky Day
I just had a trip through the snowy Alps yesterday – but Milow is spreading summer vibes. The Belgian artist makes you feel like staying at the beach and having a outdoor party rather than doing some skiing and building snowmen. In the lyrics, he asks to be my lucky day. I definitely don’t feel unlucky when I listen to this track.
Mad Manoush – Feel Good
Another title track of an upcoming album is Feel Good by Mad Manoush. The lead of the band is Austrian artist Egon Egeman from Graz. However, the band is based in Switzerland. A cool reggae-pop track, which is increasing the summer feelings this week even more.
Remote Bondage – Ich hab Dich so Lieb
Another all-female band I feature this week is Remote Bondage. They formed in 2022 after meeting at a pop music training. The German indie-pop band from Berlin will release their debut album Good Girl on 10th April 2026.
