The Flyctory.com Country Music Playlists – My Favorite Artists

It all started in August 2019 – and it has become a key delivery of Flyctory.com since then. The Country Music Playlists are part of my weekly routine. In the meantime, I replace eight songs out of a list of 50 song (it have been 40 songs at the beginning). I felt it is a nice thing in early 2025, more than five years later to praise the artists which have been featured the most on this playlist, sorted by the number of days they have been present with a song there. I feel it is a nice mix of big names and Featured Artists I love to share with you in general. Hope you enjoy!

The data in here is as of end of December 2024. Collaborations in bands have not been counted. The video featured is the one which has the longest streak of that artist in the playlist.

10th: The Cumberland River Project

Days in the Country Music Playlists: 574
Number of Songs Featured: 12 (avg. days per song in playlist: 47.8)

I absolutely love Frank and his songwriting vehicle, The Cumberland River Project. Many of his songs are in the country music sphere, but he is also leaning towards other genres from time to time. Thereby, he is working with other musicians. Still dream of this project being live on stage one day. One of the finest German acts in the domestic scene.

Speaking of artists I would love to see live on stage, Kaylee Rose is definitely on that list to me as well. I love the Florida artist’s country pop sound. Especially her song Howdy has been one of my favorites. Maybe I finally run into her on stage in one of my future Nashville trips.

My list of most frequently (and intensively featured artists) includes a nice mixture of rather emerging artists and big names. Darius Rucker is definitely on the big names. Reporting from his tour opener in Cologne in April 2024 has definitely been one of my highlights of last year.

Another big name – Luke Bryan has definitely been one of the artists which made me listen country music. He was also the first big country artist I saw live on stage. There are so many great songs by this guy – and that’s like what will keep him in this key position on Flyctory.com for a longer time.

6th: Sylvia Aimee

Days in the Country Music Playlists: 666
Number of Songs Featured: 10 (avg. 66.6 days)

Dutch Sylvia Aimee is such an amazing songwriter. I love her songs like Lonely Battle and Identity. The latter song also lead to one of my favorite Spotlight interviews ever. Sylvia might move away from country-pop in the future, which is a bit of sad. The Dutch country music scene is definitely underrated to me.

Sarah Darling is one of the artist who made me grow Flyctory.com and my country music coverage. She is still one of the Featured Artists of my website. The Iowa artist is adding her very own and special flavor to country music. I think Sarah is a real jewel in the music industry.

I ran into the music of Christina Taylor briefly before I went to my first CMA Fest in 2019. She is an amazing artist from South Carolina, also rather in the country-pop sphere. Currently, Christina is rather enjoying family life with her husband and her son, but I am looking forward to more stuff from her coming soon.

Number of Songs Featured: 16 (avg. 51.8 days)

I wrote a posting about Christina Taylor and Carolyn Miller right after CMA Fest 2019. No artist has been featured with more songs (16) in the playlist than New York City origin Carolyn Miller. I love her music, she is great on stage as well. Let’s see if she will be the first one crossing the line of having 20 songs in the playlist.

2nd: Lindsay Ell

Days in the Country Music Playlists: 896
Number of Songs Featured: 11 (avg. 81.5 days)

Lindsay Ell is just one of the most friendly and amazing people I met in the industry. Meeting her for a Spotlight interview before her 2022 show in Cologne was absolutely amazing. I love her music, her friendliness and also the new path she took with the Love Myself EP, my favorite EP of 2024. No artist in that list has a longer average stay in the playlist per song, by the way. This also underlines how much the Canadian and her music impresses me.

Most Frequently Featured in the Country Music Playlists:
Luke Combs

Days in the Country Music Playlists: 933
Number of Songs Featured: 13 (avg. 71.8 days)

The 35 year old country artist from North Carolina stormed into the country music scene. Party songs like Beer Never Broke My Heart or very personal stories like in his most recent Fathers & Sons album – Luke got all of that in stock. His 15k attendance sold out gig in Hamburg has been a milestone for the German country music scene. Six Feet Apart has been the song driving my through the Covid-19 period – no song stayed in my playlist longer than that one. Luke Combs definitely deserves being on the top of this posting more than anybody else.

List of Songs Featured:

  • Beer Never Broke My Heart
  • Six Feet Apart
  • I Know She Ain’t Ready
  • South On Ya
  • Doin’ This
