Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 30th October 2026)

Happy Halloween! With next week latest, the music industry is kicking off Christmas business, I believe. There is already a Santa Claus track on this weeks new song list and my favorite song reflects the winter season beautifully. No matter if you are carving pumpkins or already pack presents – hope you like my selection of songs (which has a lot of non-seasonal tunes as well).

My Song of the Week:

Hagen Vinter & Edith Dahl Jakobsen – Winter Fairytale

Hagen Vinter is a Norwegian musician and composer. This week, he collaborated with vocalist Edith Dahl Jakobson from the Faroe Islands for a truly special song. The musical story Winter Fairytale simply comes with a lovely atmosphere which caught me. I am sure you enjoy listening to their story as much as I did.

Other Great Songs this Week:

Ella – Where We’d Land

In the 24th July 2026 edition of my Songs of the Week, I already praised and loved the debut single Silly Games by Ella. Now the German artist from Hanover warms my heart again. Silly Games is such a beauty. Enjoy the listen!

Thit Lin – Hurry Slowly

Thit Lin is a Danish artist, who is living in Berlin. The song teases her upcoming EP Almost Something. The indie-pop artist is also working as an art director and works as a cinematic music composer – she feels being a creative mastermind. I love the atmosphere in her Hurry Slowly.

Maurice Zappe – When We Meet Again

Fall and winter time is also the time for warmth, hugs, romance – and ballads. Maurice Zappe is delivering a beautiful soundtrack for all that this week with When We Meet Again. The artist from the German Ruhrgebiet already competed in talent shows like The Voice of Germany. Ten years after he had two single releases in German, he is back with this one.

Asdis – History Repeating

Asdis is a frequent guest in my new song list. Born in Reykjavik, the Icelandic artist is part of the Berlin music scene nowadays. This pop song would have deserved being on top of my list this week as well – but the Nordic battle closely went to Norway and the Faroe Islands.

Sleep Theory – Giving Up

With Giving Up, my list of new songs goes overseas, to Memphis, Tennessee. Sleep Theory are a nu metal band founded in 2019. With Stuck In My Head, they made it to my 18th July 2024 Songs of the Week already. This time, Cullen Moore and his bandmates did it again.

His Richness – Just Leave Me Now

His Richness is the solo project of the singer of Beckside of Richness, a band from Berlin. This week, he released Just Leave Me Know. The rock track with a touch of country could have also appeared on my playlists for that genre – but I felt, it better suits in here.

Eisblume – Nimm mich

Sotiria is reversing her transformation – or: the artist formerly known as Sotiria who has was formerly known as Eisblume is now… Eisblume. No matter whether Sotiria Schenk from Berlin is singing under her first name or her former band name – her music is amazing. I love her signature style at Nimm mich.

Unzucht – Zehnmond

Unzucht are a dark rock band from Hanover. They are doing music since 2009. Their albums, including the 2026 one, Neon Dom, regularly make it into the German charts. The song is about winter feelings – a very intense listen.

Molina – How Loving Ends

Molina is having her first appearance on Flyctory.com. Not that surprisingly – How Loving Ends is the debut single by the artist from Hamburg. A lovely pop track, which also might make you dance.

L.a.d.y – Scary Movies

Another song with Faroese participation is this one L.a.d.y. is a Faroese-Swedish duo. This week, they released Scary Movies – I felt it simply fits that perfectly to Halloween, you just should not miss it out.

Guildo Horn & die Orthopädischen Strümpfe – Bald kommt der Weihnachtsmann

There is more and more Christmas music coming up – and former Eurovision Song Contest artist Guildo Horn just made me smile the most. Based on the good, old Wellerman, he released this song today. “Soon comes Santa Claus” is thereby quite up to date and reflects some nowadays todays. I just felt I had to like it.
