Royal Rose Hotel Abu Dhabi
492.27 AED
Flyctory.com Pros
- Amazing hotel style
- Great room
- Good location
The Royal Rose Hotel in Abu Dhabi is one of the classic and traditional stays in the U.A.E. capital. The former luxury hotel had rather recently joined the Hilton Group Operations and is classified as a Curio Collection Affiliate. As I was really curious about the hotel, which comes with very competitive pricing, I just had to have a look into it.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Location
The Royal Rose hotel is located in the Al Danah district, rather in the North of the main island of Abu Dhabi. The scenery around the hotel is a typical central Abu Dhabi one, with a mixture of hotels and businesses around. The Curio collection affiliated hotel is just some two blocks away from the Corniche and the Abu Dhabi Mall.
Located at Zayed The First St, the hotel does come with good public transport connections. Several bus lines serve the bus stop in front of the hotel. The Abu Dhabi Tram offers scattered services on selected days as well. However, most visitors will likely opt for a rental car to get to the hotel. The Royal Rose Abu Dhabi offers complimentary valet parking.
Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Atmosphere
Even though the hotel might not look that special from the outside, it catches you once you are inside. The lobby with the large chandelier is already catching, the decoration feel very rich. Even the floors to the rooms feel special, with paintings and splendid furniture.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Room
I had one night in the Royal Rose Abu Dhabi. My stay from Wednesday to Thursday in a King Room at a semi-flexible rate (i.e. five day cancellation) was 492.27 AED, roughly 127 EUR. Breakfast was included due to my Hilton Honors Diamond Status. The large room was absolutely in line with the design of the hotel, it felt absolutely amazing in its traditional style. The work desk was a bit too small and the power outlets next to it were in fact below the table, but apart from that I really loved that room. I also got some sweets and fruits as a welcome, which I very much appreciated.

The bathroom was very nice as well. A separate shower and bathtub, a separate bidet and quite a range of amenities provided – hard to argue against this place. The maintenance of the room felt really good as well and the bathroom as well as the living room felt very clean. If you look at all the carpets in the hotel and in the hotel room, this is definitely quite a heck of work. Thus, my kudos to the housekeeping of the Royal Rose Abu Dhabi.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Executive Lounge
The Royal Rose also drives an executive lounge. However, duing my visit, lounge times were 15:00 to 1:00. I did not really get whether I have been informed about that at check-in. Thus, the doors were shut when I wanted to have a glimpse into it on the morning of the stay.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Breakfast
Breakfast is served in a dedicated area above the lobby. The selection of items is not as wide as you might know it from other United Arab Emirates places. Nonetheless, the Royal Rose offers a really nice quality of breakfast dishes, which I appreciated. The presentation is also very nice. The seating capacity of the breakfast area felt a bit limited – even though that did not lead to issues during my stay.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – Service
Checking in and checking out as well as interacting with the staff of the hotel was a really nice experience. The people were very friendly and motivated. The terrace of the hotel features a spa area, a nice swimming pool area as well as a gym. Regarding that the Royal Rose Abu Dhabi is rather a city hotel, the city and range of services offered was absolutely fine. In-room WiFi worked excellently as well.

Royal Rose Abu Dhabi – My View
Of course, the Royal Rose Abu Dhabi is not the Emirates Palace or one of the other really posh places in the U.A.E. capital. But the lobby, the floors and the style spread a little bit of the style of a palace in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The price is amazing, compared to the value. If you like that kind of design and style with a traditional touch, you should definitely have this hotel on your list when visiting Abu Dhabi.
