Despite she is actively releasing songs since 2023 only, the German artist Soffie already had four appearances in my Songs of the Week. After a couple of straight and interesting single releases, she finally goes for her debut album. Its title is Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann – “No conflict, which you cannot solve”. She released it on 23rd October 2026.
Soffie – About The Artist
Soffie is the artist name of Sofie Aspacher. The German singer was born in 1999 in Backnang in the Greater Stuttgart region. In late 2023, she released the song Für immer Frühling (“Forever spring”), which made it to the eleventh spot in the German single charts and peaked 12th in Austria. In Germany, the song also received a golden record. The song is facing against nationalist tendencies in Germany. Her only major release so far is the 2025 EP Unterwegs.
Soffie – Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann – Track by Track
The 12 song album lasts 29 minutes.

1. Soffie Unser
That’s quite a self-confident beginning of the album. The title translates to “Our Soffie”, in line with the traditional Our Father prayer. Hey, na, ich bin wieder da und freue mich auf jeden Hass-Kommentar (“Hey, yeah, I am back – and I look forward to any hate comment”). is one of the first lyrics. She also encourages the user to Sprich das Soffie Unser nach (“Repeat the Our Soffie”) – and later gives her very own version of the prayer. The song might not be the favorite of some religious listeners – but it definitely sends a strong message right at the beginning.
2. Ich hoffe du hast Angst
Half of the song of Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann have already been released before the album. This song opens the first set of three of these songs. With Ich hoffe Du hast Angst (“I hope you are afraid”), driven by a clock-alike beat, she is sending a clear and critical message. The style of the song has flavors of pop and high school rock.
3. Beiss mich fest
Many songs on the album send their message in a rather quick way. The following two songs, for example, just pass the two minute mark. The song has a nice indie style and a good groove. The way the song is recorded leads to a very cheeky style. For example, she is asking Machen wir jetzt die zweite Strophe (“Are we doing the second stanza now”) before that second verse is kicking off. A very rhythmic song, which stays in your mind.
4. Fous!
Vous etes fous mesdames (“You are crazy, my ladies”) is the closing verse of the chorus: Apart from this line, the song which is about the elder generation disdaining younger people, is in German, though. Despite it is another of this shorter tracks, it is one of the most impressing listens of the album.
5. Brustkorb voller Sterne
The next two songs Soffie is presenting are previously unreleased. The title of this one translates to “Thorax full of stars”. The song is having a dreaming sound, but also adds some hymnic synth elements. After the strong songs before, Brustkorb voller Sterne struggles a bit to send its message.
6. Alles auf einmal
Alles auf einmal (“All at once”) starts rather slow, but then takes the typical rhythmic sound of Soffie’s songs. However, the chorus and the bridge have a very special touch and thus leads to an interesting touch.
7. Crop Top Boy
Crop Top Boy has been one of the of my favorite songs in Soffie’s campaign towards her debut album. The song plays with stereotypical gender roles, but also is full of romantic moments. Putting all that into a 2:09 minute song is absolutely impressing.
8. Du bist kaputt
Du bist kaputt (“You are broken”) comes with a lot of negative messages at the beginning. “You used to look better” is one of them. Finally, the song deals about an old, not too reliable car. Despite the fact that there are breakdowns and issues, there is still love. I am sure that you can also take it as a nice, metaphoric message.
9. Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon is definitely one of the most catching songs of Kein Stret den man nicht lösen kann. Soffie reflects about the plushy, harmonic world of children TV and compares it to her everyday experience. The song leads to a strong Scheiss Nickelodeon (“Fuck off Nickelodeon”). The impressing song ends lovely with
Ich bin verwirrt
So hab ich mir das nicht vorgestellt
So haben sie das nie gezeigt bei Nickelodeon
(“I am confused.
I did not imagine it to be like that
That’s not what they have shown at Nickelodeon”)
10. Kalkstein (es wird leichter) (feat. Jonny Mahoro)
For the tenth song, Soffie invited the Bonn-born former The Voice of Germany contestant Johnny Mahoro. The song has a very nice, reggae-alike groove. The duet-alike chorus is also a really nice part of the song. Bad luck that this one just lasts some two minutes as well – it is a real beauty and would deserve more presence.
11. Mit jeder Feder
Mit jeder Feder (“With every feather”) starts with a piano intro and feels rather melancholic. The song takes a more and more dramatic touch, coming with heavy synth chords towards its end. Mit jeder Feder werde ich schwerer (“With every feather, I become heavier”). Another nicely metaphoric presented message by the German artists.
12. Für mich da
Für mich da (“There for me”) closes the album. With almost three minutes, the track is also the longest on Soffie’s debut. The song is a very biographical, reflecting song at the end of the album. It feels being the perfect ending of it.

Soffie – Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann – My View
To be straight, I initially have not been sure whether I should go for this review. The more I listened to Kein Streit den man nicht lösen kann, the more I liked the fine storytelling, which still have a nice metaphoric touch. Soffie has found and defined her sound, only a few songs really divert from it. Nonetheless, her debut is interesting, versatile and does become boring. I really like it.
Favorite Song: Kalkstein (es wird leichter)
