Flyctory.com Songs Of The Week (week of 17th October 2025)

After some more intense week, life is slowing down again. With the Netherlands – Italy handball match, I had a real highlight this week, though. My list of new songs released this week is rather pop-ish. Hope you like it.

Sam Fender feat. Elton John – Talk To You

Sam Fender is a 1994-born indie-rock singer-songwriter from England. All of his three studio albums so far topped the British charts. This week, he is joining forces with one of the greatest music legends of his country. Talk To You is my favorite this week.

Johannes Oerding – Sonntag

Johannes Oerding is taking you to a “Sunday” this week, according to the title. The German musician has already released seven albums – A new one would be cool, especially after listening to this song. A nice one!

Bunch of Ace – Hater

In my September 2025 with them, Alandra and Alessja already teased their first German song release and the upcoming German album Tanz im Wasser. A song against hate by the lovely young German ladies. Love it!

Soffie – Dass ich gerade traurig bin

Sophie, Sofia, … there are quite a lot of artists with similar names in the German music scene. With her song Für immer Frühling, the Southern German already had a golden record in Germany in 2024. This one (“That I am currently sad”) does not only reflect my mood, it is also a song

Lina – Für Immer

I featured German artist Lina multiple times in my Songs of the Week already. This week she again released a modern pop song with a personal touch. The title translated to “Forever”.

Justin Jesso – Stuck In the Middle

Justin Jesso is a US-American singer-songwriter from Chicago. His songwriting references are impressing. He wrote / co-wrote songs for artists like the Backstreet Boys, Armin van Buuren or Ricky Martin already. However, he has also a quite long and impressing list of solo releases already. This one is a nice modern pop track.

Chloe Qisha – So Sad So Hot

Already on Wednesday, Chloe Qisha released So Sad So Hot. The alternative pop artist is born in Malaysia, but based in the United Kingdom. In early 2026, she will tour North America. This week, she completed her European tour. A really cool sound.

Thomas Guido Peter – Autumn’s Beauty

Thomas Guido Peter is originally part of the duo Thrill of Joy. The Saarbrücken artist started to release solo music in German. Autumn’s Beauty is his first song in English. An English album is scheduled for 2026.

Brandi Carlile – Church & State

You would typically expect the US-American artist on the country music side of my blog. However, Brandi Carlile’s new song is just too rocking – so that it made its way into my Songs of the Week list.

Santiano – Tanzen wie die Teufel

I always like new songs by the Northern German shanty-rockers. This week, they are “Dancing like the devil”, according to the song title. And I go for that dance as well.
