I felt sad that I every week delete my comments on why I updated the Flyctory.com Country Music Playlists with certain songs. Thus, I decided to archive the comments over the last weeks. Just repeating… But I felt that it is a nice log if you just want to look it up (and finally… If you don’t like it… Just skip that page 🙂 ).

Country Music Playlist Update Log (13th January 2025)

The music industry is back from the holiday season. This Friday, I had a rather full-scale set of new country music releases. I went for these eight songs this week.

Dust by Anna Vaus

I featured Anna Vaus for the first time in my November 2024 Country Music Picks. Now, the Southern California artist makes it into my main playlist for the first time. I really like her new song Dust.

Rosetta by Ringo Starr feat. Billy Strings & Larkin Poe

From a country music perspective, the most interesting release of the weekend has definitely been Look Up by Ringo Starr. The former Beatles member is collaborating with with different music artist. This one is with Billy Strings and Larkin Poe.

Haggard Blues by Aaron Watson

Aaron Watson is a typical artist of the Texas country music scene. This week, he released Haggard Blues. A nice song with a traditional touch and good vibes.

The Ballad of Uncle Don by Chancey Williams

Chancey Williams is a country music singer-songwriter, who is typically recording and being on stage with his band. His The Ballad of Uncle Don is not that ballad-alike, but comes with nice and modern country music vibes.

Day Late & A Buck Short by Julia Cole

How could there be a new year without a new Julia Cole song? The female country artist is simply that active in the studio – and her songs are fun listens.

I Care What You Think by Demps

Demps is originally from Florida, but is nowadays based in Nashville. Her fresh style leads to catching songs – like her new song.

Ain’t It Easy by Dalton Dover

Dalton Dover is asking Ain’t It Easy this week. The Georgia-origin artist had a strong album Never Giving Up On That in 2023. Let’s hope that there will be a new record soon.

You Didn’t Hear It From Me by James Barker Band

The four Canadians are back! James, Taylor, Connor and Bobby released a new song this week. Hope they present it on German stages soon!

Country Music Playlist Update Log (6th January 2025)

Happy New Year! It is time to kick off the country music year 2025 with you. This week, I feature seven new songs and a special track – hope you like my first eight song collection in this year.

This Town by Myles Erlick

Actor, dancer and singer – Myles Erlick is definitely a multi-talented entertainer. This week, the Canadian released his new song, This Town. I absolutely liked it.

Badass High School Band by Jay Smith

Who is not thinking about these Badass High School Bands in his younger years? Swedish musician and Swedish Idol winner of 2010, Jay Smith, does so. And this thought turns into a really cool country rock song. It has been an easy choice for me to add him to the playlist.

You And Only You by Ty March

The only major country music release I spotted this week is New To Nashville by Ty March. I just did not have the time to feature the massive new record – it comes with a total of 20 songs. This one is my favorite.

Homewrecker by Willow Avalon

The country music magazine Holler released a list of 25 New Artists for 2025. On the top of the post is Willow Avalon, The female country artist is originally from Georgia, but nowadays based in New York City. Let’s give her a chance and share one of her most popular songs so far.

Casual Drinking by Haley Mae Campbell

I haven’t featured Haley Mae Campbell for a while. This week, she is stating There ain’t no such thing as casual drinking and made me love her new song. Thus, I share a song of her again. Hope you like it as well.

Go to Town by Mary Kutter

Another new song this week is Go to Town by Mary Kutter. A very energetic and catching song by the Kentucky-origin artist.

Mine In My Mind by Don Louis feat. Sammy Arriaga

Don Louis released Mine In My Mind this week – and invited Sammy Arriaga to join him. The latter is even adding some Spanish lyrics. A slow, personal song with a nice singer-songwriter touch.

Denver To Dallas by Wynn Williams

A flight from Denver To Dallas – I just had to add this song to my playlist. Wynn Williams is an artist on the rise – let’s see if his new song is another step in his career.
