I felt sad that I every week delete my comments on why I updated the Flyctory.com Country Music Playlists with certain songs. Thus, I decided to archive the comments over the last weeks. Just repeating… But I felt that it is a nice log if you just want to look it up (and finally… If you don’t like it… Just skip that page 🙂 ).

Country Music Playlist Update Log (2nd February 2026)

February is calling already. This month with Flyctory.com will be rather intense. There are two major sports events I will cover with my blog. Additionally, I will spend a few days at the Olympic Winter Games 2026 in Milan. My playlist additions are still January 2026 (or earlier) songs – let’s have a listen to them together:

Whiskey Weather by Jon Langston

My songs this week start with a typical country music topic – Whiskey. Jon Langston praises the Whiskey Weather in his new song. Cheers!

Whiskey Won’t by Lane Smith

Whiskey, part 2. Lane Smith’s new song is Whiskey Won’t. A really nice song by the Texas artist from San Antonio.

Gone by Kindred Valley

Kindred Valley is a country and folk band from West Virginia. It has been founded when he band members met at university in 2020. I really like their new song Gone.

I Wanna See Your Playlist by Elle Townley

Red flags are a big topic in social media. Elle Townley has a very dedicated way judging on you. She demands I Wanna See Your Playlist in her latest song release. I love it. What is your playlist alike?

The Great Divide by Noah Kahan

The last solo release by Noah Kahan was the album Stock Season (Forever) in 2024. This week, he released a new song, The Great Divide. Hope you like it!

Streets of Minneapolis by Bruce Springsteen

I feel it it is the first time that the same song appears in parallel in the Country Music Playlists as well as in my this week’s Songs of the Week. In the Instagram community vote, you clearly confirmed my thought that this is the most important song this week.

Written by a Woman by Kelsey Lamb

I feel that quite some female country music artists are definitely underrated. Kelsey Lamb released Written by a Woman this week – I am sure she agrees to my thought.

Hallowed Ground by Tyler Sjöström

A new song by Tyler Sjöström – I just cannot wait to see him again at the Country To Country in Berlin 2026. A beautiful, calm song with lovely storytelling. Let’s see whether he will perform it at the Sad Song Society slots.

Tiger Lilies by Kelsey Waldon

Finally, I also kicked off the concert coverage in 2026 this week. Kelsey Waldon and Domino Lewis did a great show in Cologne on Wednesday. I loved Kelsey’s song Tiger Lilies, which she dedicated to her grandmother.

Becoming The Floor by Kendall Lujan

With the album Lucky Penny (2025) and the 2023 EP Forget Me Knots, I featured Kendall Lujan twice in reviews already. This week, she released her new song Becoming The Floor – and makes it straight into my playlist.

Country Music Playlist Update Log (26th January 2026)

Handball in Oslo, a company event in Hamburg and the Rheinland floorball derby – I had definitely a quite busy and travel-intense week this time. I was quite amazed but several really interesting country music releases this week. I picked these ten songs representing my week in country music.

What If We Don’t by Ashley McBryde

I start my list of song additions with the new song release by Ashley McBryde. It almost feels needless to state that What If We Don’t is another great listen by the US-American country music lady.

Different Kinda Hard by Trisha Yearwood

Trisha Yearwood is definitely a big name in country music. I always love running into her music. This week, she released the deluxe version of her album The Mirror. Here is one of the new songs from it.

Church Girl by Carly Pearce

Bad luck that Carly Pearce does not come back to Germany on her upcoming tour (see my Tour Date Overview). This week, she released the rather gentle song Church Girl. A really nice one.

Sunday Supper by Waylon Wyatt & Bayker Blankenship

Last Sunday, I released my preview to the C2C 2026 in Berlin. At the 2025 festival, Bayker Blankenship gained many more fans with his performances on smaller stages and the Spotlight stage. This time, he is on main stage and thus one of the artists I explicitly mentioned in my post. Thus, I felt to share one of his major songs, which he recorded together with Waylon Wyatt.

Prayin’ for Me by McCoy Moore

McCoy Moore is a new name on Flyctory.com. He released his self-titled debut EP last year. The Florida artist will be part of the Country To Country shows in Berlin and Rotterdam and also plays some of the Sound of Nashville shows between the festivals (see my Tour Date Overview). Prayin’ for Me is his new single. Maybe this listen makes you attend one of the gigs.

You Say Vegas by SJ McDonald

You Say Vegas is already the third song I feature from SJ McDonald. I really like the new song by the artist from Virginia. Let’s see how her journey continues.

Texas Swagger by Paul Cauthen

Texas Swagger is the second time I feature a solo track by Paul Cauthen. The East Texas artist released this energetic modern country track this week. I like his style.

Cold Beer Country Music and You by Jackie Lee

The title of this song sounds like a typical country music song, doesn’t it? I featured Jackie Lee’s late 2025 single Always Starts With You, his modern country music style works very well in this song as well.

Man For That by Taylor Austin Dye

Taylor Austin Dye is a Kentucky native artist, who is nowadays based in Nashville. I really love this rocking and energetic country song. Great energy!

Call It Cowboy by Hayden Coffman

Songs like Better Off lead to quite some focus on Hayden Coffman. The Knoxville artist released his new country rock song Call It Cowboy this week. A really good one!

Country Music Playlist Update Log (19th January 2026)

Wow, this week was really special in regards of country music. I had over 30 songs which were on my long list for the Country Music Playlists. But, as always, I have to select ten – and put some additional ones into the New Country Songs Playlist. Hard work for me – great pleasure for you, hopefully!

Primadonna by First Time Flyers

The final lineup for the C2C in Berlin has been revealed – and having these British guys on stage there is such a thing to me. With Tim Prottey-Jones, they have one of the finest country songwriters from the U.K., Jake Morrell is amazing and the ladies, Poppy Fardell and Vicky Manser, are great as well. Vicky is a former Rock of Ages musical actress, by the way. Have to see them.

You’re It For Me, Honey by Caroline Jones

Caroline Jones is a very established artist in the female country music scene. The New York City-born lady is already active since 2010. The biggest of her seven studio album releases so far is likely Bare Feet (2018), which almost hit the Top 10 in the US Country Album sales. Here is her new song.

What Could Go Wrong by Julia Cole

Another artist I look forward to in Berlin that much is Julia Cole. This week, she released a new song, What Could Go Wrong. Maybe it will be in her set when she is opening the main stage on Friday.

Cons and Clowns by Courtney Marie Andrews

My first country-related review of the year is Valentine by Courtney Marie Andrews. A really nice album which just had to be reflected in the playlist as well. Here is my favorite song from it.

Light of a Clear Blue Morning by Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah & Reba McEntire

I featured the supergroup Frontm3n and their album Now And Then in my reviews – and I feature two superb country collaborations in the playlist as well. The first one is an amazing collaboration with Dolly Parton and four amazing country ladies (just counting Miley Cyrus to country music for a moment). Lovely one!

Nights Are Forever Without You by Dan Seals, Sara Evans, England Dan & John Ford Coley

Another set of four great artists released Nights Are Forever Without You this week. This quartet might not be as big as the ladies before – but they are great musicians with a lovely song.

Where I’m From by Dalton Dover feat. Bryce Leatherwood

How could I move over from these two amazing lineups to Dalton Dover and Bryce Leatherwood – despite they are high level country musicians as well. This week, they shared their song Where I’m From. Love it!

Rich In Texas by Kassi Ashton

Multiple songs featured in the Paramount+ series Landman (Volume II) have been released this way. I went for one of my favorite female country artists, Kassi Ashton, and her Rich In Texas.

Heard That by Baylee Lynn

Country ladies can rock as well – this week features a couple of songs proving that. Heard That is the latest song by Baylee Lynn. She is a very young, just 17 year old artist from Greenville in Tennessee. Feel like she might get more attention of Flyctory.com in the future.

Back On My Bullshit by Sadie Bass

Another debut artist on Flyctory.com is Sadie Bass. She is a 27 year old artist from Michigan, who released her debut single in 2019. Another great country rocker.

Country Music Playlist Update Log (12th January 2026)

As I wrote in my this week’s Songs of the Week episode: the music industry is getting back on track after Christmas break. The volume of new releases has increased significantly, so that there was a lot of music to listen to. Nonetheless – the rules for my playlist upgrade are fixed. Here are ten songs representing my previous week in country music.

Aeroplane by Zach Bryan

I guess you cannot talk about this week in country music without mentioning With Heaven On Top. It’s the title of the new album by Zach Bryan, released this Friday. Have a look into my Tour Date Overview – he will tour Europe this year on his With Heaven on Tour 2026. I selected the track Aeroplane for the playlist.

Nobody Knows by Vince Gill

Another album release this week is 50 Years From Home: Brown’s Diner Bar. Vince Gil released this relatively short one (just seven songs). I went for the fourth track of the release.

Hometown Heroes by The Reklaws feat. Dean Brody

The Canadian country music sibling duo The Reklaws are back with a new song. I loved many of their releases – and the more I was happy being able to listen to this one. For Hometown Heroes, they partnered with Canadian Pacific Coast artist Dean Brody.

When A Cowboy Prays by Brandon Lake & Cody Johnson

Another really nice collaboration track this week is When A Cowboy Prays. Brandon Lake and Cody Johnson recorded this very spiritual one. A rather slow song, which stays in your mind.

Sleepless in a Hotel Room by Luke Combs

Not only that Luke Combs released this new song this week. He also announced his new album. The Way I Am will be released on 20th March 2026. Two good reasons to add this track to my playlist.

American Sky by Morgan Myles

Morgan Myles is one of so many artist, who boosted her career by competing at The Voice. Her musical signature is the wide range of notes she is able to sing. Not only the vocal performance on American Sky is beautiful.

Red Flags by Kaylee Rose

Relationship issues and problems feel to be one of the most frequent topics in Kaylee Rose’s tracks. This week, she shares her new song with a rather traditional style about Red Flags. Even though I feel that the concept of red flags is silly (at least if there are too many of them), I really like this one.

Can’t Live Without by Lakeview

A new track by Lakeview – this simply has to mean that the Pittsburgh duo gets your face melted again with hard rocking country music. And they simply deliver what is expected.

One Day by Sheyna Gee

This week, I added the (first ?) German tour dates for 2026 to my Tour Date Overview. The country and classic rock artist from California also shared One Day the same time. I would definitely love listening to it on her shows.

Little Man by Justin Tyler

I live on a horse farm with my wife and our 2 dogs, Justin Tyler states on his Instagram account. Little Man by the Canadian artist is my favorite new song release this week. Hope you love it as well.

Country Music Playlist Update Log (5th January 2026)

Happy new year, Country Music Fellows! My first Country Music Playlist addition comes with a mixture of new songs and classics I ran into during my recent road trip through the Southwest USA. Additionally, I praise two artists. Hope you like my ten song selection.

When Do We Stop Talking by Parker Graye

I kick off the year with the single release of a country music lady. Parker Graye had released her debut album Lyin’ To Me in 2024. Since then, she has released several songs. Her emotional When Do We Stop Talking really touched me.

Change The Man by Abbey Cone

Abbey Cone released her most recent album Greener in April 2025. On New Year’s Day, she released her first single thereafter. A rather traditional, but very nice to listen to song by the Texas-origin artist.

Sounds Like You by Myles Erlick

Like Abbey Cone, Myles Erlick is featured on my website the first time. Nonetheless, Erlick is releasing music since 2022. A cool song with a good plot and a catching melody.

Drive-Thru by Vic Allen

With the end of the year, I also did my year-end reviews, including the My Favorite Songs 2025 post. For the first time, I did a community vote, separately for country and non-country music. Based on my song picks, you voted for Vic Allen‘s Ended in a Song. I praise the lovely English artist with one of her songs I did not cover so far, Drive-Thru.

Resolutions by Madison Parks

Madison Parks released her first song of 2026 on Friday. A lovely track by the Georgia-origin artist.

Love Like That by Jordana Bryant

So good to have a new song by Jordana Bryant. The 20 year old country-pop artist shared Love Like That this week. I really love listening to it.

Dale Jr. by Cole Swindell

Even though my last Cole Swindell album review is Stereotype as of 2022, I frequently ran into his music. In June 2025 already, he released Dale Jr.. The song is – well deservedly – still very present in US country radio. Time to add him to the playlist.

Fuck This Job by Wheeler Walker Jr.

Wheeler Walker Jr. is the country project by US-American comedian Ben Hoffman. He is doing country music with a very ironic style. Now that we go back to work after Christmas vacation, I am sure that quite a few of you feel Fuck This Job. Thus, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to pick one of Hoffman’s songs, which is having exactly that song title.

Boys Chase Girls by Josh Weathers

Josh Weathers is a country music artist with a very own style, who is living in the Muscle Shoals area (I have been there this summer). With Neon Never Fades, he released one of the first country music albums of the year on Friday. I picked this song.

Dos Bros by The BossHoss

I already stated my Favorite Songs 2025. My personal country music top placement pick was I’ll Be Back by the German country-rockers The BossHoss. Even though they did not make it to the finals in my community vote, I praise them by picking one of their classics, which is also one of their biggest songs. Here is Dos Bros.
